You were definitely misinformed. I have receipts showing that I have come several times before ordered multiple drinks and left a considerable tip everytime especially because you are a small business! Please refrain from lecturing people about respect and small businesses and focus your efforts on reading and understanding why so many are complaining about the same people for their lack of customer service skills. Being defensive and attacking customers is not the way forward. I never asked for anything free, nor did I expect a free drink. But the horrible service and issues startled me from the moment I entered. Why would I stay there and order again when I can go to another coffee shop and receive great service. Furthermore, I was not offended when they asked me if my dog is a service dog, because I have come in the past and went as far as presenting my service dog card to make staff comfortable. So please gather facts and experiences from customers before making assumptions and writing such inaccurate account.
I had a horrible experience this morning with the rude white male barrista. He is so moody and you don't know what to expect. The female cashier has zero customer service skills, so unfriendly. They startled me and I got my order wrong and wasted $7 to throw it in the trash. So sad to see Oren's go down like this. He rarely looks up or be responsive / interactive with customers. Every time I present my student ID for a discount, he would ask to see my student ID without looking up. That is after me seeing him almost daily at some point with my student ID. I knew him well enough that I always take my student ID out and present it readily for him to see, but he manages to not look up enough that I had to tell him every time that I was holding my student ID right there. One time I was holding it closer to his view hoping he would just see it instead of asking it again, and then he just yelled at me be like "dont put it up against my face!" He started doing this thing that all his drinks are so milked down every time. Maybe he just puts in one less shot than everyone else or something.
And for some reason the coffees been tasting very bitter lately. Maybe time to finally switch on from Oren's... Oren's coffee is approaching Pret's level at this point but Pret's 30 something...

Today, as soon as I ordered a latte, the new (rather short) white male staff who is always at the counter said “of course” as soon as I made “no tip” selection. Then I said “What do you mean by 'of course' ?". The guy was speechless for 3 seconds so I decided to get my coffee and leave.
The only available tip options are 1, 1.5, and 2, and you certainly don’t expect someone going nearly everyday to make a tip every single day. Also, don’t expect a tip if you always make a no-foam Latte into a half-foam-filled Latte.
