Ostro Cafe Astoria — Restaurant in New York

Nice new cafe on Steinway! We enjoyed the pastries and drinks. Will definitely go back and try more of their stuff. Seating is available but I can see it getting packed during busy hours since it’s on a major street.

Service is great. The staff even brought our foods straight to our table.

Food: The lemon donut was SO GOOD - melts in your mouth. Chocolate croissant was good too. BEC sandwich was alright, probably pass on it next time. Looking forward to trying their other sandwiches.

Drinks: Got their pistachio latte and a black coffee- both delicious and refreshing. I appreciate their pistachio latte was only $6 rather than the $10 that some other cafes on Steinway are charging. Good prices for good...

Awesome. I put their stuff up there with the big dogs in the neighborhood like Balancero and Little Flower and city favorites like La Bomboniera and Sotte. Good vibes, super friendly service. Got a cappuccino, gf got an americano and a piece of blueberry cheesecake. The cappuccino was great, I even went back for another before we left. The americano had that golden crema when she took the lid off that shows you they know what they’re doing. The cheesecake was fantastic. I love this beautiful cozy cafe good food with great ambiance. I had the smoked salmon sandwich, Matcha Latte and Fresh orange juice it was very delicious and Tasty. The Staff are really nice, friendly and welcoming and making you feel at home they delivered my food into my table as well.
