Read moreI have visited this location multiple times in the past and yesterday was the day I told myself I will never come back here. So I went to purchase some pastries and encountered a concerning situation. After selecting my pastries, I noticed that an employee, a young Asian man wearing a hat, dropped a cleaning rag on the floor. He then proceeded to use the same rag to clean the shelves where the pastries are placed. I politely informed him that this practice was unsanitary, pointing out that people walk on that floor with the same shoes they wear into the bathroom.
Then, when I approached the register, the cashier asked if I wanted my items to go, to which I replied affirmatively. However, instead of packaging the pastries, he simply stood there, staring at me. Another customer had lined up behind me, and the cashier inexplicably prioritized this person, stating that he needed to take care of them first. It was only after I explicitly asked him to box my pastries that he complied. I found it unreasonable that I had to instruct him on how to perform such a basic aspect of his job.
My overall experience at this Paris Baguette location, particularly yesterday in the afternoon, was disappointing. The employees seemed to lack basic common sense and professionalism. Furthermore, as a person of color, I felt scrutinized by the Asian employees, who seemed to be watching me as if I were a potential thief. This behavior added to the overall discomfort of my visit. Anyways, as an employee If you are dissatisfied with your job, perhaps it is time to consider leaving. Accept that you are unable to perform the basic tasks required by your position, and lose the f ing...
Read moreStopped in here after eating AYCE bbq on the same block late October. It was my birthday so I decided to pop in for some sweet treats. My brother and I ordered hot chocolates and two slices of cake.
The interior is bright, open and very spacious. The manager that night of my visit in October was super nice and welcoming. Indoor dining had just returned so a few patrons were sitting down but no large groups or anything. The prices for the goods looked fair and they had plenty of baked goods still available even though it was evening already.
The bathrooms were open which was convenient since I had a long drive home ahead of me but they could've been a little bit cleaner in my opinion. Not a big deal if you're just dropping in to pick up or if you live in the neighborhood.
In terms of overall cleanliness and safety, all employees were wearing masks correctly and all surfaces appeared clean and disinfected. Customers that chose to sit down to dine were spaced out either of their own doing or via managements, can't say for sure.
Overall, I would recommend coming in here because their food and drinks are delicious. I would most definitely return if I'm in the neighborhood again. For my fellow drivers, they've got...
