After looking at multiple reviews of this hotel me and my girlfriend decided to still give it a shot as the hotel was close to the US Open. We stayed in a bigger room (grand suite) the room has a lot of shelf and storage space which was nice. The bed is super comfortable. The TV is not good. Not HD and none of the streaming apps were updated which you can't update yourself for some reason. Only 3 channels in English. Everything seems a little bit dirty or breaking but I've stayed in worse so that's fine with me. We did hang a do not disturb sign on our door while we left for a day because we did not want anyone in our room but the cleaners still went in and made the beds. Nothing was stolen and it was nice to have fresh towels and bed made but for future reference lock stuff away in the lock box just in case you decide to leave for the day. The surrounding area is Flushing Chinatown so there is a lot of great cuisine and culture which I liked. It is next to a police station so it does feel safe. The shower is open to the entire room so only stay here if you are okay with doing that in front of the person you are staying with. Judging by other reviews it seems all of the rooms are like this. The rooftop bar had amazing views. The drinks were okay. They give you a menu of drinks and food and if you don't want what's on the menu the bartender seems to not like it. It got to the point where the bartender decided to not even make me an old fashioned, she just poured a cup full of straight whisky. The music is also blaring which I found a little annoying as there was only a few people up there just trying to have conversation. Overall, I've stayed at better and I've stayed at worse. I would not stay in this hotel if it wasn't so close to the US Open grounds. I would not recommend staying longer than one night. It does the job but there is better if you want to stay in New York or Queens specifically.

We booked a King Room since June. Instead we were given a small nasty looking, nasty smelling room with no space to place luggage or walk comfortably on the first floor. We were told the price we paid was for that room and does not equate to the reserved King Room. We requested another room and still could not escape the smell of mildew and moisture in the air. The furniture shows evidence of moisture damage. The light requires your room key to stay on, which is a very tedious practice. The shower-toilet arrangement was absolutely devastating. Everything is in one area and seems extremely unhygienic. The rough towels we were left were exactly that. After my 11hr drive I opted out of showering. When doing long distance driving I carry a blanket and pillow and so I ended up spreading that on the bed thanks to my newly feuled fears. Parking is $4 every 2 hours on the street. There is no “hotel” parking. We checked out the next morning by 10:30, we would have left earlier if we could have found last minute accommodations. They still charged us for a 3 day stay despite their false advertisement and poor conditions. The entire weekend was derailed because of the discomfort my mother and I experienced attempting to stay at this hotel. We had to book another hotel elsewhere and pay again just to be sure we had a clean place to stay. 2/10 Don’t recommend. I understand those images may be pre pandemic images and if that is the case invest in better quality items for your hotel and fix your rooms. Also the complimentary shower gel was a small hlf full bottle… I was concerned.

WARNING HEALTH HAZARD mold in bathrooms. I was there for a week in January 2020 switch rooms due to the issues you're about to read about. Overcharging and using the tactic of bait and switch. They charged my debit card with so manny fraudulent charges that Now I have to work with the bank and waste time to get my money back. It's very easy to get drawn to both of their properties When you look at the website and see their rooms you will absolutely love the hotel and the price it fantastic but you know what they say when it sounds too good to be true it usually is. You will not get a deal they promise because their word means nothing. I will give you a lot of information here but I will also be filing a civil lawsuit against them and once I'm done with discovery that would also be made public because the public has a right to know that their health is being put in danger by these people

The television and the phone in the room were not working. I was there to do work I needed the Internet but yet it took 2 1/2 days for me to get Wi-Fi and I had to power my computers to my mobile hotspot.

The first room I was in The noise was so intense from the heating system Coming from either upstairs or downstairs of me, I was told two different things so I don't know exactly where but it sounded like slamming doors every few seconds the entire night. So they said I will be comped For three nights and they will give me another room. The new room had black mold in the shower and rust coming out of the shower head. The cleaning crew clean my room twice in a week once before I got there and when I left.

Don't just take my word for it look at the pictures I attached and look at their other business spa castle Which received 49 violations in one year alone, people discharging bodily fluids in pools, and 84-year-old was found dead at the bottom of the outdoor hot tub. They were hit with child labor violations, They were shut down by the health department. The pools didn't have enough disinfectant, the owners were indicted on Charges of tax fraud And convicted of such crimes so if they're cheating the federal government putting everybody else at risk with these type of violations a little black mold doesn't make a difference of these people but it can cost you your life, a six-year-old girl nearly drowned in one of their pools because of too much suction and there were many instances reported where patrons were having sex inside...

Overall Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Title: Windowless Room, Broken AC, Smell of Weed, and Delayed Deposit – Worst Hotel Experience Ever

⸻

Room: ★☆☆☆☆ The room was completely windowless, which was never mentioned during the booking process. The pictures on Booking.com showed rooms with windows and views, which is totally misleading. The space felt claustrophobic and poorly ventilated. For a hotel calling itself “boutique,” this was shocking and unacceptable.

⸻

Cleanliness: ★☆☆☆☆ Although the room appeared clean on the surface, the entire hotel was filled with the strong smell of marijuana, especially noticeable at night. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. We even saw police officers coming to investigate, which speaks volumes about the environment.

⸻

Service: ★☆☆☆☆ The front desk staff, who seemed like part of a family-run business, were unhelpful and unprofessional. We reported that the AC wasn’t working, and they simply told us to “wait a little longer.” After over an hour, the temperature actually went up. We asked for help again, and they said someone would come—no one ever did. When we asked about the deposit refund, we were told it would take five business days, with no formal receipt or documentation provided.

⸻

Amenities: ★☆☆☆☆ The AC system was a total failure. The central air barely worked, and the in-room split unit was useless. The temperature stayed above 80°F (27°C) for hours and even rose while we were out. There were no fans or alternative ventilation. It was hot, stuffy, and impossible to rest.

⸻

Location: ★★★☆☆ The hotel is centrally located in Flushing, which is the only upside. It’s close to restaurants and transportation. But no matter how good the location is, it doesn’t make up for a terrible stay.

⸻

Value: ★☆☆☆☆ The price is high for such poor service and conditions. They charged a $100 deposit at check-in without proper disclosure, and told us at check-out that it would take five days to be returned. For the amount paid, we expected comfort and honesty. Instead, we got neither.

⸻

Summary: This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. From misleading room listings to dysfunctional AC, poor service, marijuana smell, and a shady deposit policy—everything about this stay was a disaster. I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid...
