They should close this business.

I have purchased from this place three times, taking empanadas home, only to sit down and bite into them — to find that the contents are different from what I requested and paid for.

On one occurrence, I asked for a Cuban empanada. I would assume that it would have the typical/expected ingredients of pork, beef, cheese, pickle, mustard/mayo… Typical Cuban type of ingredients, right???

When I took the order home and bit into this empanada, it was HOLLOW, with only a burnt, dark layer on the bottom of it.

When I returned it to the store, the guy who claimed cooked it gave me this stare (while I explained my experience), as if I was the one in question. I showed it to him, and I asked him if he would eat this?

No reply… and “no reply” IS A REPLY.

So I proceeded to ask him, “then why would you sell this to me as a Cuban empanada?” As tired as I was, I had the energy to go back and return what appear to look like a hollow empanada, and they gave me two chicken empanadas to replace that.

On another occurrence, I made a request for a pizza empanada. When I got home, and bit into it, it had some nasty, flavorless white cheese in there. No pizza ingredients whatsoever.

I’m still trying to figure out how this place is still in business?

I no longer support this establishment (even on my most hungriest days, and this place is just down the block from my residence), because it’s like playing Russian Roulette: you don’t know what you’re actually paying for, until you bite into it. You’re paying for an unexpected surprise.

This has to be one of the best Pikasso locations I’ve visited. The staff here are truly aligned with their passion for both their work and the service they provide.

So is 95 degrees outside, they produce did not look fresh and they were out of multiple things. They didn’t have blueberries so I went all the way to the supermarket to buy blueberries. And when I returned I was told that they couldn’t use the blueberries I bought to make my smoothie even though I wasn’t asking a discount, wasn’t going to allow them to keep the blueberries either it was only going to be used with my smoothie. Again is 95 degrees outside weather and they are smoothie and juice place they didn’t have ingredients to make what I needed and when provided was denied.
