There are several pizzerias sprawled throughout my Bath Beach neighborhood, but Pizza D'Amore is my go-to pizzeria whenever I'm in the mood for fast, great Italian food. I've tried several items from this place including the fresh mozzarella pizza, spaghetti, pasta fagioli soup, eggplant parmesan, and meatball hero. They are all delicious, hot, and freshly-made. The service is fast and friendly. The workers who are of Mexican descent have a great sense of humor and always put a smile on my face whenever I place my order with them. The interior of this place was recently redone in an impressive brick and wood style unlike other pizzerias in the area that tend to appear cold and uninteresting. You can tell that this place is a constant labor of love to Frank, the owner. And in reading the other Google reviews of this place, seeing how the owner pro-actively responds to each and every customer comment tells me how much he wants every customer to have a great experience here. Large black & white photos of the immediate neighborhood are prominently displayed on the walls of this pizzeria and pay homage how this area used to look like over 50 years ago. The owner has two other Pizza D'Amore locations in other parts of Brooklyn. While I've never visited them, I'm sure they're just as good as this one.

Genuinely so disappointed. I used to love this place, in fact it was the only pizza place I’d order from for a long time, don’t know when or what exactly caused the change but I stopped ordering for a while because the quality of food no longer tasted as good as it was…decided to give them another shot and quickly realized I don’t think I’ll order from them again. My fried zucchini sticks came more like fried zucchini wedges/spears ?? Not to mention they arrived completely soggy and just plain gross; flavor was nonexistent and the breading was not good. The pepperoni rolls were so thinly sliced you could barely even constitute it as a whole one, my order of two made up the size of what ONE of theirs used to be. I’ll pay any price for quality, good food but $30 for two items that tasted barely even mediocre is absurd. Whatever you guys were doing a few years ago, for the love of god just go back to that.

I ordered caesar salad and it was the worst one I ever tried. No parmesan, barely any croutons, and nothing else. Basically it’s just a green leaves and sauce on the side. Shredded chicken on top. Plus the restaurant is so smoked, I believe their vent is broken. Bc it’s my second visit seeing this horrible smoke. Service wasn’t good either. It took too long to get this salad. Tables are not clean at all. I cleaned it up myself… That’s the only spot to eat in that Bay Area, I don’t know if I’ll be returning…

The girl that picks up the phone needs training in customer service. I called to place a delivery and she tells me they don't make the item I'm ordering when I've place the order countless times. She argues with me telling me they don't make it and that I've got the name wrong for it , then someone behind her tells her that they do make it. From there you can tell she got an attitude from her tone and the "mhm" and " is that it" she kept telling me after every other item I ordered. When the delivery final comes I see that they send me a large pizza pie and not the large fries I asked for. I call and she tell me that I order the pizza and not French fries but my wife clearly heard me say French Fries . From here I lost my appetite from having to deal with all this for a simple order. They told me to keep the pie and that they can send the fries over but I gotta pay for them , I declined and told them I didn't want the pie and I wanted my money back from the extra they charged me. They claimed that they were gonna send the fries and my refund but 1 hour passed and I had to call again and they said they would come for the pie and give me my refund but no fries. Sad experience overall which I feel could have been avoided if phone girl had better...
