Witness something in horror.
I was at Popeyes, 6417 Bay Parkway, Brooklyn location and witness something in horror. At the time there was only one cashier, and there was a line. The cashier asked a guy next to him to make help him a chicken sandwich, and that guy responded loudly “Make it Yourself”! As it turns out, that guy’s name tag indicated his position as the manager and his name is Raymond. Not only Raymond did not help the cashier, he went to the back and screamed at another poor guy. The manager then came back to the front as told the casher that he’ll be downstairs in his office if he needs him. OMG, the cashier needed him now, and there’s a line. After witnessing this incident, I just turned around and left the store – lost my appetite. I love Popeyes, but I will not visit this store again.
Recently there’s a news that said about 4.3 million Americans quit their jobs in recent months. I can see why. The article cited poor pay, bad working conditions and obnoxious managers. This all falls back to Popeyes’ management and how the employees are trained, most importantly, who they put in the manager’s position. Most major corporations put their employees through personality and team training such as Myer Briggs or SMART Skills. I feel Popeyes needs to adapt this type of training for all of their employees. Hope this will help...
Read moreDo not go to this place and do not give them business. They have the worst customer service. They get my orders wrong every time, have Extremely slow and rude individuals working here. If I could give this place no stars I would. They cater to the asian food delivery service app orders over regular orders. Which is why regular orders take so long. There is zero communication behind the counter and kitchen. They need someone who speaks English and knows how to treat customers like people. They throw the food at you. I think it starts with management at the top and they must not care about their customers so why give them business. Avoid this place if you want fast friendly reliable good food. Also, even the place physically is always dirty. There are never any clean tables or chairs to sit on. If I was the owner I’d be embarrassed to call this place my establishment. Avoid...
Read moreThe staff is very new but I’m not sure if they teach being rude and agitation as part of the training. Staff yelled at me and told me to wait after I waited 20 minutes for a mobile order. The second time I approached staff he asked for name then proceeded to taking the order ticket from the printer and then said “okay I’m doing it now”. What was he thinking or doing for 20 minutes? There was a line so I gave him the benefit of the doubt but his attitude and dialog is all messed up. He tried to justify how slow it was because it was busy and it’s a “holiday” I waited while number 26-28 was picked up and left and even a lady with 22 said she’s waiting patiently for the spicy chicken. My order was mild and the staff was telling me they have to go in order. What’s the point of ordering through mobile and earlier? Also my...
