We came here for a quick snack before ending our day. We picked this Mexican spot because we were craving nachos and this place got some really good reviews. Upon arrival, the restaurant was mostly empty. There was one big group sitting outside drinking. We decided to sit indoors and asked if they had AC. The bartender who was also the only person there decided to put on the AC because it was really hot indoors. The restaurant had nice eclectic decor and ample seating.

My friends decided that they wanted to have a few drinks. We asked if they had any happy hour specials and we were told no. One group came in and immediately left when they found out that there weren't any happy hour specials.

Charsu got a Blackberry margarita ($14) and Farabe got a regular one ($12). They were disappointed that they used a cheap house tequila and that the taste didn't match the price. I ordered a Mexican coke which was cold and refreshing.

Each table gets one free basket of chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and tasty. It had a nice salty crisp to it. I thought the salsa was also very tasty and fresh. I ordered a plate of chicken nachos ($13) and it was so delicious and filling. The chicken was cooked well and was flavorful. I liked that every chip got some kind of topping or sauce.

Farabe ordered steak enchiladas Roja ($14.50). When their order arrived, the server bought out the wrong dish. He said that's what we ordered but, we insisted that he got it wrong. He took Farabe's order back and bought out the correct one. Farabe thought the dish was delicious (but, needed a bit more sauce) and the steak was tender.

Overall, the food was delicious and filling but, the drinks and service...

I had been wanting to go here so badly for so long based off the pictures I’ve seen. The drinks appeared absolutely amazing… I would say unfortunately this is a case of catfish. The pictures look way better than what the food tastes like. They salsa for chips and salsa was very good but the chips they served were extremely oily. The chicken Tinga tacos appear online that you can get flour option however the waiter told me no and then when I got the tacos, the corn tortillas were so oily. My stomach immediately was killing me. The guac didn’t taste like anything either.. The burrito was the only good thing we had. Overall, I just won’t be returning. My stomach was killling me from all that oil. It was only one person at the bar as well serving multiple people on a Tuesday night, so it was kind of hard to be taken care of. For quick Taco Tuesday night, $80 definitely...

I came here before and had an excellent experience but this visit in particular was not. I came into the store and I got a mixed fajita it is supposed to come with steak shrimp and chicken but I did not want the chicken so I told them they can hold the chicken. So the fajita comes out it smells delicious and tastes delicious but after eating 3 of the shrimps and literally 4 pieces of steak( when I say pieces I mean slices) and there was nothing on the plate but onions and peppers. I was extremely upset and I explained to the waitress that I understood that I didn’t want chicken but I didn’t even get that much steak and at first she showed little to no empathy about the situation until my boyfriend intervened and then later she offered a discount sidebar I tried to take a picture of what I got on the plate but while I was trying to do so one of the waiters...

My mezcal margarita was absolutely delicious. Though, for $14, you'd think they would fill up your cup as opposed to handing you a glass that's only 75% full. We are visual creatures so if you hand me a cup that's 75% full, my mind immediately thinks it's 25% empty. Perhaps serve it in a smaller glass or give me more margarita. Just a suggestion. I got the surf and turf ($21): 6 pieces of shrimp and a skirt steak with rice and beans, some guacamole and sour cream. Really delicious and I would totally get it again. The house hot sauce is 🔥 🔥 🔥. If they bottled it and sold it, I would totally buy it.
