Dear Owner, Do you even understand the word coming out of my Google review? Despite your racist attitude, I left the tip which I regret it. You failed to serve the restaurant customer in many ways but I did my part. Dang. And I strongly regret it. Leaving the tip for bad service towards my family. Now your response is great addition to my regret. You should review your service instead of asking about tip that you don't deserve but you still collect.
Even tho hall was half-empfty at 3pm on a rainy Saturday, they seated my son and my mom on the deep deep inside corner, right next to closed cashier area. I came in after parking and couldn't find them despite the fact that my son is 6'3. Then I had to wave like I'm swimming at a triathlon for a while for the server to take the order. Finally, She came with no smile said "you're not the only one I have here to serve" or so. Dang, I should not give the tip...once again, it was half empty. Steamed mussel came but No bowls for the shell. So we had to put the shell on our own plates. Half of the mussels were dime-size and the sauce tasted like a canfood. Dang, I should not give the tip... Then I realized that every other table had a bread and butter. So I asked her for bread. She was blah blah blah. Something like she would bring it if we asked...Meanwhile, other tables were getting them automatically as they sitting. Dang, I should not give the tip... Finally, when she brought a linguine with a white clam sauce, she brought 2 bowls for the shell. But there was no Clam on the half shell. I asked why you brought a bowl for the shell when there's no Clam shell. Blah blah blah. Anyway, There are no clams in Linguine with a clam sauce in Randazzo's clam bar. All three of us were quite offended by the staffs attitude. Dang, I should not give the tip... Reason I gave 2 stars is because my son liked his chicken francese. Food is mediocre. Service is bad. Read moreMy family and I came to Randazzo's on Monday night (12/30/2019) at 7:30pm and we had the most unprofessional waitress we have ever had here at Randazzo's. We did not get her name, but she was blonde and possibly in her late 20's or early 30's, very slender. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, she did not greet us, she told us that we came in through the wrong door and made a huge deal out of it. Once she took our order we had to wait over 25 minutes to get our drinks and once we reminded her that we had not received our drinks yet, she stated the we did not order drinks, she then looked on her pad and then appologized that we had in fact ordered drinks; it really bothered us that she talked to us and treated us this way. One of the times we waved her over to help us, all she said is "what do you want?" In the most condescending tone. We are a mixed race, middleclass family that only eats out once or twice a month and when we do eat out we want a good experience for our hard-earned money. The food was great as always here at Randazzo's in Sheapshead bay in Brooklyn, but our server was so unprofessional, if we do come back and we get the same service. We will not come back. My wife's mother has been coming to Randazzo's for Twenty-Five years... and this is the first time she has seen the service this bad... The food is great, location is beautiful, but if you're a middleclass family that can only afford to eat out once or twice a month I would hesitate to recommend Randazzo's despite the AMAZING food because it appears they may not treat you with respect...
Read moreWHOLE STAFF UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE. Today my family and I showed up at the restaurant to only be deterred from ever going back there. We were met with a waitress that disregarded the table multiple times so my husband went inside to order us food. When we were finally acknowledged we were told we could no longer use the table due to the store being "busy". After explaining that my husband already placed an order we were only met with an attitude from the waitress that should've been helping us. Mind you, I also have an 84-year-old woman with us and also have a one-year-old child who both needed to eat. While my husband went inside to also clarify the situation and to get his food, to be also met with unprofessional staff members such as a woman manager. They told us to take our food and go when my family and I talked sternly but calmly and rationally to everyone involved. We were told that the waitress section outside works off of tips and get very angry if anyone orders inside and will refuse service to you which is EXTREMELY unprofessional. We would have gladly placed an order with the waitress had she acknowledged us in the area and would have had no issues tipping. Maybe, put a sign up so people know this and this type of situation won't happen. After making the trip to the restaurant and all the aggravation, my husband ended up dropping off the food since the staff couldn't even close the containers properly. Will not be going back there and will be telling others to not go back.
