Retro Grill — Restaurant in New York

Horrible service, horrible drivers and using GrubHub for their delivery service. On Sunday night 2/5/2023 @530pm, I placed my order for delivery. At 630pm, I called the restaurant to see where my food was, the person on the phone said "your food was the next one out the door and will take 10-15 minutes. " The driver calls and says what's my address, I said you are at the wrong address. At 730pm, I recalled the business and told them what happened, the owner or general manager got really nasty with me and I almost cancelled my order. Who the hell waits for food for over 2 1/2 hours with ice cold food in the bag.

I should demand that the owner should retrain his employees to do a better job and use their own retro grill drivers to deliver the food and get GrubHub knocked off the delivery service. GrubHub doesn't do great job with delivery service.

I would show this owner who I work for and maybe show him what happens to his company if he messes up again with someone else delivery order...

This joint opened up awhile ago and has since been a trendy place for the young crowd. My kids absolutely love the burgers here compared to the other Glatt Kosher fast food restaurants. Adults can also enjoy meals here. The atmosphere is very nice except it could do without all the laughter and loudness from behind the counter. I have no choice but to update my review cause this place, once established, has been going downhill, especially with non existence customer service, bad attitude by the order takers and cashiers, so cheap on the sauces, crispy chicken fingers are soggy, steak sandwich is chewy. Once their image was built, they raised their prices, which is acceptable, but not when the food and service has been downgraded. It is a pity cause the place still has some good food left on the menu but if I complained 3 times in 10 days [and was promised a call from management] and no one bothered calling back, then I guess it is time to stop...

I'll be honest when they first opened I loved the spot as time went it just got worse. These days the service is POOOR/ VERY RUDE food has become ehhh, price has increased and no lie they are so cheap with the sauce it's just sad. If you getting a decent order delivery 50% chance they will forget something or be cheap with something I promise. I got a crunchy cutlet sandwich that had 3 micro tenders with hardly any veggies in it, no lie one of the thinnest sandwiches I have ever seen in a while plus I get a giant size wax bag with FROZEN FRIES filled a 1/4th of the way. And they forget my soda too. What's the problem here after all this. They charge about $20 for this 1 order with tax and tip and i still can't enjoy my food because they cant get it right at all. ITS PATHETIC AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY MORE. I DELETED THEIR APP FROM MY PHONE LAST NIGHT.
