Mitoushi — Restaurant in New York

Major disappointment. After all the hype we expected more. First we were put off by a highly inept waitress who didn't know the menu, kept confusing us with other patrons, and generally appeared dazed and confused. In general the stuff appeared disorganized. I've ordered Seafood Soba in Broth dish which i highly DO NOT recommend. Firstly it was missing the title component soba. Instead the dish included generous amount of what appeared to be angle hair past. Also, having one shrimp, one scallop, and one slice of fish cakes does not qualify for seafood. Am i too picky? The vegetables were totally overcooked so was the pasta. The only redemption came from sushi rolls that were not horrible (Mitoushi quality and presentation) I am all for second chances so may be we'll pay them a visit in a year or so. i ordered from Grubhub and they use their own delivery person. I supposed to get my order at 2:30. Waited outside for the order. didnt come. called the store couple of times, they kept telling me that it will come. i waited then around 3pm i see grubhub changed my order to delivered and i dont have anything with me. I called the restaurant again and they were extremely rude with me. they told me that they cant do anything about this. they spoke wiht their driver and driver infromed that it was delivered. however i contacted grubhub and complained. The driver came just now to deliver the order which is now 3:15 and i supposed to get the order at 2:30. I will not order from this place anymore because of their behavior and how they handled this situation and also the food is NOT...

Love the ambiance more than anything else about this place. They have ambiant recessed neon lights among the wall decor. When we went it was decorated tastefully for Halloween. Gorgeous bathrooms too. Reasonably priced with tasty fresh dishes. We ordered the hibachi salmon which was not too overwhelming which came with a side salad with a light ginger dressing. We ordered a few rolls of sushi, which was what you'd typically expect. Overall fresh and no fishy smell or taste in anything, not even the cooked salmon. Great service throughout the whole meal. Only thing I'd say is that the edamame is too salty, so I'll ask for less salt...
