Sofia Pizza — Restaurant in New York

A pretty small place, they say they are also a restaurant but not really. They do have a full menu but its not a sit down and get served place.

They have a very extensive menu with soups, salads, appetizers, entrees (chicken, Veal, pasta) and heroes.

I ordered the homemade baked Ziti at the counter and waited. In a about 10 minutes my order was ready and I sat down to eat. The tables were clean and nice and large for me to spread out. The ziti was very, very good. Pasta cooked just right and the sauce had a nice flavor to it.

It's a bit out of my way but I can see myself stopping by on my way home coming off the Belt to pick a to go order...

My family and I have been ordering from these guys for years upon years. The head honchos worked for Knapps Pizza II originally and opened up shop here. Delicious pizza and the fastest delivery time even if it’s outside their delivery radius. Their prices are also lower. The only downside is their phones are very busy sometimes, but you can download the Slice App and order from there and save your orders. Sadly when you use sub-par ingredients (cheap) and put a mild price tag on the pizza, it won't end good. You can easily get better pizza from a chain "restaurant" like Pizza Hut for $8 or a frozen pizza for less. Whats great is the aura of the staff and the environment, but sadly when you use cheap ingredients , it does not matter at the end. When they first opened, one could actually taste the quality of ingredients used to make their food.
