Rosa Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I came in on a very cold bitter day and ordered my usual and went to pay the exact amount of $12.64 for my plain slice, order of garlic knots and beef patty. AFter paying, I went to the server behind the counter (African young man) and explicitly asked him, "if my slice was in there as well?" He said "yes!"....NO it was not!

I had walked 3 blocks in the blistering cold to get on the bus as the bus was approaching, I went to grab one of the garlic knots because I was so hungry and that time, I discovered the AFrican young man did not put my slice in the bag. I was furious! I walked back to your restaurant and asked him, "what happened to my slice?" He then changed his tone and said, "I did not ask for a slice." I responded, "really, so why did I just pay the young black girl with glasses $12.64 and gave her a $20 bill and 3 singles ($23) and received $10.36 back as I looked at the young lady who said nothing. I guess she decided to stay out of the situation.

The young man did not even acknowledge his mistake despite knowing I'm repeat customer and had to call him out. He was unprofessional in taking ownership for his mistakes, let alone no apologies or service etiquette. You think I'd wanted to walk back three blocks in frigid weather now that I missed my bus? It wasn't worth my time but the pizza was for my child. Totally unacceptable service and wish the owner was there, who normally is. Hence my 1 star rating for...

What a disappointment. We walked into this busy pizza joint and ordered an extra large pie, then sat down. And waited. And waited. And waited. An hour and 15 minutes we waited while other customers came in after us and left before us. My boyfriend finally walked up and asked about our order. The young lady behind the counter walked over and grabbed a box with a slip of paper on it with my boo's name. An hour and 15 minutes we waited and then were served a cold pizza that had sat for who knows how long. No apology. Just a shrug. When we asked for the store manager by phone 15 minutes later, a familiar voice excuse herself to go get the manager. The same voice then came back on the phone, gave a very weak apology, and said "what else can I do for you?" I'm pretty certain the "store manager" was the same young lady who handed us the cold pizza. We might try it again but never around...

The customer service was good the first time I went there but the service sucked when the owner or the manager became very upset with my autistic son just simply because he touch the door stopper and that’s not even the part that made me upset they got 1 Parmesan cheese shaker … they way he came and took it away form my table and gave me the disgusting look mind you I spend 38$ and not sure if it was my hajib or what but he was being super nice to the white customers and when I asked for a paper plate the employee was looking at him for his approval to give me a plate …..made me go back and forth asking for a paper plate for spending almost 38$ disgusting ….
