Sandy's Roti — Restaurant in New York

I am terrible sad to say, Sandy's Roti Shop is not the same since they re-opened. We were loyal customer but sadly since the reopened August 4th 2017, we will no longer go back. The grand opening day fell short of what the set expectation was , by the former owner. The doubles was horrible. The bara was stiff and the chana was lacking in presence in the bara. The owner was constantly hovering over the workers and telling the amount to put into the bara. Also, you have an employee who can not wrap a roti to go. Come on now, you work in a Roti Shop. Come on Sandy's STEP IT UP to get your customers back! You may not last a long time, I wish you the best. Maybe you can get some of the past employees back, the COOK...

I'll start by saying that I don't like doubles and I am picky with my West Indian food...but the doubles or aloo pie with shrimp curry and pepper sauce are AMAZING!! Perfectly seasoned and really reminiscent of at home cooking. The staff is always nice, helpful and quick. Also, there is a small spot to sit and eat and the restaurant is always clean.
