The staff is always wonderfully friendly, the dining areas well kept, and the food delicious. Since becoming Sayori, the menu has changed to include a significant amount of Korean fare as well, but my wife and I happen to enjoy spicy. That's not to say anything poor of the Japanese side of the menu. On the contrary, that's still the main reason we go! Simson was our waiter who was so attentive, friendly and quick with the service. All of the appetizers and entrees was so fresh and tasty. For apps we had the shumai and gyoza 🥟 pork dumplings. We walked in on a Monday night there was 1 older couple and a family with children in the restaurant it was completely empty but we were ignored. As we walked in the waitress saw us and waved to sit anywhere we sat and she just totally ignored us. No menus no drinks no acknowledgement.
