🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 – Classic Comfort with a View!
We had an amazing experience at the Shake Shack Dumbo location — honestly, everything about it hit the spot and made our day in Brooklyn even better.
First off, you can’t beat the location. Nestled right in the heart of Dumbo, just steps from the waterfront and the iconic views of the Manhattan Bridge — it’s the perfect place to stop for a bite while exploring the area. The atmosphere here is casual but lively, and you really feel like you’re part of the NYC energy — tourists and locals all mingling, enjoying good food with great vibes.
We ordered 2 single ShackBurgers and 2 orders of spicy cheese fries, and wow. Shake Shack always delivers on consistency, but this location felt extra fresh and flavorful. The burgers were perfectly cooked — juicy, hot, and full of that classic Shack sauce flavor we love. The buns were super soft and slightly toasted, just how they should be. It’s a simple burger, but they somehow make it taste gourmet every single time.
Now let’s talk about those spicy cheese fries. 🔥 Seriously, the perfect combo of crispy crinkle-cut fries with that smooth, spicy cheese sauce that adds just the right kick. Not too overpowering, but enough heat to keep things exciting. They were so good we almost went back for a third order!
The staff was friendly and moved the line along quickly (it was busy, which is always a good sign), and even helped us find a clean table outside. Sitting there, enjoying our food with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background — it was honestly one of those moments you don’t forget. Pure NYC magic.
If you’re visiting Dumbo, make Shake Shack a stop on your list. Great food, great location, and a view that turns a simple meal into a full-on experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the...
Read moreIf you have any allergies I suggest you go to another location to eat. Last night i went to shake shack cause I wanted a burger and it’s in my neighborhood. It was 2 hours before closing but it was still busy. I only had cash on me so I waited patiently till someone came to the register. I ordered a double shack stack without tomatoes and add pickles. They asked for my name , i said Jazz. The cashier asked Jasmine. I just repeated myself saying Jazz. I guess I said it aggressively but I didn’t mean it in that way. My name isn’t Jasmine , sorry. She reads the total and I was confused. I meant to order a double shack burger in reality. So my cashier switched it no problem. I wait for my food, I felt bad cause everyone is crowding the window, I understand what it’s like to work under pressure. Then i get my food say thanks have a goodnight. I checked to see my food they added tomatoes anyways. I’m like okay maybe it was cause the way i came off. I get home and I check my burger to see they added diced red peppers to my burger as well. I’m allergic, I can’t even eat my burger anymore plus is was cold?! I was patient about the wait, yes I said my name aggressively and I mixed the 2 shacks together. Does that mean I should get cold food and extra things added to my burger? I just find that to be miserable behavior. In my own neighborhood. I want to try the new Oreo funnel cake shake but now Im pretty sure they gonna add red peppers to my...

We were having a beautiful day in DUMBO Park. My 2 year old son, my aunt and I began to get hungry and ran to Shake Shack. It was exactly what we were looking for at the moment. Just something quick to satisfy our hunger so we can continue enjoying our day.
I got the smoke shack, it's what I usually get and it is always delicious. We got fries to share. My aunt is gluten free so she got a regular burger wrapped in lettuce and my son got the six piece chicken pieces and vanilla milkshake.
Of course all he was interested in was the milkshake he only had a bite or two of the chicken pieces but we brought them home and reheated the next day. Surprisingly for fast food shake shack reheats pretty good.
It was a bit expensive for just the three of us but taking modern day prices into account I guess it wasn't really that bad. I think it came out to $40 - $45.
If you were looking for a greasy guilty pleasure with incredible views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges along with lower Manhattan's incredible skyline this is the spot!
Oh and a great little surprise: they gave my son a free set of crayons and placemat to...
