I ordered popcorn chicken and rice balls to go. When I arrived home and opened the food, I was disappointed to find that the popcorn chicken was completely burnt and inedible. Mistakes can happen in any kitchen, but it was surprising that food in that condition was approved to leave the restaurant. The rice balls were actually very good, and I had no issue with them. However, since the chicken was not edible, I called the restaurant to request a refund for just that portion of the order. The staff member who answered the phone was polite and genuinely tried to help, but after speaking with her “boss,” she informed me that they do not offer refunds on food. She then returned to tell me I could instead come back the next day to receive another order of popcorn chicken. I explained that I didn’t feel comfortable returning for a replacement if that kind of food was allowed to leave the kitchen the first time around and preferred a simple partial refund. At that point, I was given a different explanation — that because the order was paid by credit card and I was only asking for a partial refund rather than a full one, it "wasn't possible." This reasoning didn’t make sense, as I also manage a restaurant and am familiar with the Clover POS system they use. A partial refund or void since it was same day is entirely possible, just as it is on Square or Toast.

The issue wasn’t technical limitation; it was a refusal to take responsibility for a clear mistake. To make matters worse, I could hear the “boss” in the background speaking unprofessionally while the staff member tried to communicate with me. I would have been happy to remain a customer if the situation was handled with honesty and accountability. The rice balls and boba I’ve had in the past were good, but the unwillingness to provide even a simple resolution, paired with inconsistent explanations, made this a disappointing and unprofessional experience. Unfortunately, I will not...

FINALLY A PROPER JAPANESE CURRY! I've tried several restaurants katsu curry and they give you teeny amount of curry, like it's a dipping sauce, something slightly bigger than a serving of honey mustard. Here they give you a full pint(half a quart)! For place that's mainly bubble tea I was expecting a snack size bowl, not a full dinner set. It came with miso soup and a salad, the bowl had a large cutlet and what would be two+ serving of rice. I really thought they were giving me wrong order when I had one item and they gave me a giant bag of food. It was $14 but I've easily seen other places charge $18-24 for similar.

The store was neat and clean, they had bunch of Japanese snacks and candies near the front, 4 monitors of the various drink options, and two monitors of food options on the back wall.

I asked them not to put napkins or utensils and they complied, so you know they pay attention to their work and customers. Definitely a place...

Didn’t get what i asked for. First asked for peach milk they said they can do it but later they tell me they can’t then without option for what I wanted I Asked for coconut milk tea with lichee jelly, but instead got plane milk tea no flavor of coconut. Realized after later tasting it I realized it’s just plain milk tea with no flavor of coconut in it. Requested for extra lichee jelly to make up but they wanted me ti charge for it extra 0.75$ for it. Was first time here. First on entering they seemed friendly bur no recommendations or have ideas about their own products. Like ask questions please, its my first time here I dont know what I’m gonna get help me out here. The store wasn’t that busy either upon entering. Also no gloves while making the drinks where is the hygiene?. Drove 15 minutes to here just for this and get a 6$ medium Milk tea which wasn’t even worth...

Y’all girl be all over NYC catching the dopest places. First time having bubble tea and I wasn’t disappointed. The boba balls( big pause ) isn’t my thing but damnnnn she makes a great milk tea. The location itself is super cute and they had these wooden benches that I was very pleased with being a bbw and all 🥰 I would come here for cute date or just to vibe and eat ^-.-^• Thanks for being so warm and welcoming as I am a queer POC and the owners was super sweet and friendly to my partner and I!! I used to go to school down the block about 15 years ago and it warms my heart that it’s still a lovely area Can’t wait to try some display treats 🥰
