Crowley Playground — Attraction in New York

I love crowley park. It is a wonderful place where people can relax, play basketball and have fun in the sprinklers. BUT there is one problem i cannot stand. The people who work at the park dont open the sprinklers most of the time which is a problem because it is becoming hot. Dont tell me that they dont open it because no one is requesting or no one is at the park. When people see that the sprinklers are on, they literally RUN to this park. Also, when the people who work at the park see my son dressed up for the sprinklers, they avoid him. They avoid turning on the sprinklers. Today, my son cried about how much he wanted to go to this park but the sprinklers weren’t on. They should just open it everyday. There was also this one time where there put up the basketball hoops after a long period of time. Then they were “too tired” to put the sprinklers on. I would give this park a good review, but they just dont turn on the sprinklers. I dont understand why...

I'm glad that I finally got to visit this park. We had a good time here. They have swings for little tots and bigger kids but not the red swing for kids with special needs like in other parks. They have two jungle gyms for different ages. It looks like the have a small water area. Bathrooms were closed. They have a basketball area, four hoops, a hand ball court, and a group of middle aged men standing around, drinking beer, laughing, having a good time, blasting all types of music for your entertainment purposes! That's NY parks for you. Will return for the music, water works and slides...

Found this hidden gem 2 weeks ago and have been taking my kid here 2x a week since then. Wide, lots of space to run around, swings, slide, a fun sprinkler, lots of benches, some with tables so you can bring food and have a picnic, basketball court, restrooms. I always found a parking spot right by the entrance. As long as you keep your eyes on your child the whole time (and not on your phone), this is a nice playground for kids.
