Maspeth Center — Local services in New York

I mainly go here for the Stop & Shop and sometimes Starbucks. There is rooftop and ground parking and parking is free. It's usually not too busy on weekdays so parking isn't hard to find but the ground parking area could have better directions. There are certain parts of the parking lot that have direction arrows but by the time you see them, you could already be going in the wrong direction, as there wasn't a sign before you made the turn. There is a Burger King in the area, which is clean and spacious, and they have a public bathroom. There's also a Party City, Sally's Beauty Supplies, CityMD, and a bank. Place is always crowded. Parking lot on street level is a nightmare! Very tight spaces, always packed with traffic, narrow roads. Stop n Shop is always mobbed & their aisles are always jam packed with boxes/crates & people trying to pass. Party City is decent. Walk-in medical facility is nice & clean. The problem is just going there and parking your vehicle, even if you go to the upper-level you have to drive around the street level which is always mobbed and very tight and be careful going up the ramp to the second level because cars come flying around the corner to come down the ramp, and that's a very narrow tight turn. Small shopping center with an even smaller, inefficient parking lot. Stop & Shop, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Party City, City MD, Pet Supplies Plus, Sally Beauty Supply, and Mattress Firm are all serviced by a sad sad store level parking area. Drive up the ramp if you dare, with the aid of a mounted mirror around the precarious blind spot turn.
