I understand the hype and why it’s so hard to get a reservation at this spot. We ended up waiting in line and we sat at the bar after about 30 minutes. The food was fantastic! One of the most unique iterations of a club sandwich I’ve ever had accompanied by some crispy and well seasoned smashed potatoes. My friends’ dishes were also delicious. I read a lot about their cardamom bun, but I think it’s a pass. Nothing out of the ordinary and rather dense. I’ll be back to try their dinner and other offerings !

Had a solo dinner at Smor this week and it was everything I could have wanted. I went with the sesame schnitzel and it was fried to perfection. The cucumber salad is unassuming but amazing. I also had to get the trout toast with salmon roe and it tastes as good as it looks. Washed it all down with a cold danish beer. Nothing better. Great chill vibes and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back and try more stuff.

Solid breakfast & coffee shop in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. If I lived in the area, this would be a great WFH spot as it has great food, great coffee, and a solid atmosphere. This also is a great place to come with your parents or friends, as it’s neat, clean, and kinda just nice inside. The salmon & co sandwich is exactly what you want in the classic Jewish open face sandwich. No notes here!

I’ve been a frequent visitor to Smør’s East Village bakery and restaurant locations, and every time has been nothing short of amazing. Naturally, I was curious to check out their new Clinton Hill spot, and all I can say is wow! Simply incredible.

The new location offers many of the classic menu items I’ve come to love from their city locations, but there are several new and exciting dishes that really stood out. The crispy shrimp sandwich, tuna and stracciatella, and squash fritters are just a few of the fresh additions that absolutely delighted me. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—both the rice pudding and the dreamcake are to die for!

I’m honestly in love with everything these guys are doing. Smør delivers a unique and modern culinary experience, and the value you get for the price is better than most places I’ve been. On top of that, the Brooklyn location is beautifully designed with a cozy Scandinavian vibe that makes the whole dining experience feel casual yet lovingly curated.

this is my second time going to smor for lunch first time i got the open face salmon with capers and pickled onion delicious and this time i ordered the everything platter with salmon and it was so so yummy!

now, accidentally something happened with our order which delayed our lunch (we were chatting away so it really didn’t matter to us) BUT the server came to us apologizing and comped the whole meal without us even complaining, thats top notch hospitality and definitely makes me feel appreciated and welcome. i will 10000% be returning this spot is gold.

not to mention all the workers are kind, stylish, and vibeyyy! honestly seems like a lovely place to work as its a lovely place to eat or even just grab and go a drink and pastry!

whenever i do go i get a reservation but it is cool for walk ins as...

Smør Clinton hill is truly such a gorgeous restaurant, serving equally as gorgeous (and delicious!) food. Being at Smør really makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Copenhagen. I’ve been several times now, for both their breakfast/lunch and dinner service, and am consistently thrilled with the experience. I love the cheesy eggs and any of the egg sandwiches for breakfast. My go to lunch dishes are any of the smørbrød (pickled herring and egg/shrimp are my favorite) and for dinner the trout toast and tuna are absolutely incredible. Plus, the move is to always order a few cardamom buns for the table for breakfast or a few Danish dogs for lunch/dinner for everyone to share. The wine list is also extremely good! Perfect for a surprisingly affordable, but truly elevated, date night or...
