So I ordered food for my child and I on a Thursday morning. Long story short, I ended up having to wait almost 3 hours for my food. I ordered my food at 9:30 and did not see my food until 12pm. And if that wasn’t enough, I didn’t even have all of the stuff that I ordered!!!! After an hour and a half of waiting, I called the restaurant to see what was going on. The phone would ring and go to voicemail. (Keep in mind this is a place of business we are talking about here.) After calling 10 times, I finally spoke with the rudest person ever and asked what was the reason for the delay ...the person replied “We were busy.” Um hello— this is diner, of course you’re busy.... What does that have to do with fulfilling my order in a timely fashion?
You would think because I frequent this place, they would consider a “loyal customer’s” feelings, but, no. Not only did they NOT deliver my order in a timely fashion, but their level of professionalism and customer service was terrible. The person on the phone was abrupt and careless. To be honest, every time I visit this place he seems miserable and unhappy to be there. His attitude is truly unacceptable. Considering the fact that I spent almost $30 and ordered from seamless and I live fairly close to the establishment—- I really can’t understand why this behavior was warranted.
The owner of the place really needs to considered new employees if he’s going to thrive. Not everyone is willing to deal with a frustrating temperament such as the one I encountered...

When I called to let them know that half my order had not arrived, the man I spoke with offered no solution whatsoever and proceeded to inform me that my order was not wrong because, as he ludicrously explained, Seamless had written the description so it wasn't his fault and they don't even carry the items listed. What?!? When I tried to reason with him as to how that could possibly be, HE LAUGHED AT ME. He then, apparently, just set the phone down and walked away without saying anything. I'm in shock as to how a business could possibly run with such terrible customer service and inexcusably rude employees. There are reviews here that indicate bad attitudes, long waits, etc. Yet, they happen to be human beings; just like you and me. So they do have bad days at work: just like you and me.
