Evergreen Cleaners — Local services in New York

Horrible!! job done So I brought in two Tees, but one was messed up. My Chenille beige pro standard With navy embroidered letters Tee. I only wore this once last year. I brought into the cleaners because I believed they would know how to clean it. It was my first time at this cleaners. However when I picked up my clothing and took it home and looked at it I realized it was way worse off than before. Initially all it had was a small stain on the lower bottom but now the navy from the embroidery somehow bled into the beige horrible and not only that but the stain was not even worked on and marks are all over. I went back the next morning and I showed and explained what happened the guy had the audacity to tell me he doesn’t see anything, I showed him closer as we spoke. But horrible job. He did tell me this is my fault with this material I should have mentioned to you this may happen and ask you more questions. They were professional in speaking and giving me a $50 dollar store credit but I don’t even trust taking my clothes there anymore. I also noticed that when the items were handed to me to take home in the plastic and hanger the tee that came out good was placed in the front which now I perceive as purposely to conceal the messed up one behind. This to me is shady work if I’m not mistaken. Which seems very dishonest just like I don’t see anything. I am highly upset with this service. I should’ve washed it myself. Also I’m not sure where they transport it to wash them, the machines there are out of order and they send them somewhere else in bags, could it be just regular washing machines mixed with other clothing and this is why my stain wasn’t even worked on and...

Their seamstress is amazing. The woman at the front desk is really great and their dry cleaning is alright.

BUT NEVER GET THEIR DELIVERY OPTION. It’s never on time from when they say it will arrive. They are inconsistent on when they make their deliveries - and expect your clothing to be MIA for a while. It happened once and thought maybe it was a one time thing. But nope - had it done a second time and once again a day later than expected and had to call and beg to get some pieces back.

If you have the patience and the time - they are great - but don’t take their own deadline for when it’s going to be delivered seriously. It’s never accurate.

Again, I think they are a great local spot and don’t want their business to suffer because of their delivery option. I’ve learned to plan ahead and just go in...

Beware of this cleaners. They don't know what they're doing. They clean with harsh cleaning chemicals that can damage your clothes. They ruined a sports coat that I took there and tried to blame it on another cleaners even though I had not yet taken it to another cleaners until after approaching them about the damage that they caused. I did eventually go to another cleaners and they confirmed the damage was from the chemicals that were used to try to clean it previously. If you value your things...
