Kingston Bakery Harlem — Restaurant in New York

Walking around Harlem and this beautiful golden and red spot catches my eye. Something told me this food was gonna be fire. I go in and the aroma escapes past the mask I'm wearing like I ain't got it on. Greeted with positivity and amazing customer service, Kevin, told me the food was good and the smells of the food told my stomach it was gonna taste good x2. I asked him what he would recommend to a vegetarian and he told me that I must try the vegan and veggie patty. I ended up ordering 2 vegan patties, a veggie patty and a beef patty. The beef patty ain't made it to my roommate, cuz I slipped and ate it all up. I devoured the vegan patties, bit into the veggie patty, scotch bonnet greeted me and ate up the beef patty and went straight back to the veggie patty. I drank up the carrot juice, so sweet and yummy and omg the mf'n sorrel!!!!! (Kevin makes these) Lawd it ain't last a second. I got a sorrel drink for my roomie who is an older Jamaican woman and she loved it, said it was better than the place she got her last sorrel drink from. As I left the shop, I heard a Black woman say "You blessing up Harlem". Blessed I felt, Blessed it gives, Blessings is what you gonna get get. Deff gonna head back soon, cuz I'm tryna receive these blessings. Thank y'all for putting the love up in these patties...

So I was going up the block I’ll leave that review for them and I saw this place Kingston bakery did a U-turn and went in asked for a beef patty at 10am then said they don’t have I was a bit disappointed, but they had chicken patties, so I took one of those at $4 it wasn’t cheap for a patty. But lord ooooo lord it was jammed packed and delicious. I was surprised to say the least. I couldn’t believe the flavor bomb it was seasoned great spicy I added hot sauce after a few bits of course but it didn’t need it. The patty itself wasn’t flaky and I expected that from a patty but after the first bit I didn’t mind at all this is hands down one of the best in the city and you guys sound definitely try it. I’ll be back to taste the full patty list and try other things to update this review. Can’t wait to return. Ok now I had the beef patty and this is hands down the best patties in the area

They beat the other spot hands down filled up and tasty 😋 anytime I want a patty I will be coming here

Service is still the same not great but who cares you just ordering 😂 atmosphere is just that 😂 it’s ok

It’s a bit outta my way but for those in the area and want a patty definitely won’t be disappointed.

To me, this is by far the best Jamaican eatery in Harlem. It has hands down the BEST corn meal porridge. Corn meal porridge that will rival your grandmas or aunties. The only corn meal porridge that was close was my late grandmothers and when I tell you it gives me memories of her I'm not lying. Even my cousins agreed when they visited. The patties are delicious, all of them, beef, chicken, and veggie... so well seasoned, never greasy or 2nd quality meat. The crust is unique to me, not the crust you get at Golden Krust or other places, but it is so delicious. Flaky and pastry like in its own right and oddly seems healthier. The carrot cake...so good. The lunch special also delicious. I have to try the Mac n cheese cuz it looks crazy. I told the owner she should have a coupon program, buy 6 patties get 7th free. Hoping she does cuz it would save me money I go here so much. Plus, the gospel or reggae music when you walk in is a good break from the street. Much Love Kingston Bakery. Keep...
