Suma Sushi — Restaurant in New York

Do not go here!!! I ordered from this restaurant using Seamless and asked for a side of ginger dressing to my order ( I ordered sashimi lunch special). I charged the entire order, including tip on my credict card. The delivery guy came really quickly. However, when the delivery guy came, he asked for $1 in cash for the ginger dressing. I honestly didn't have any cash (that's why I ordered with seamless). The delivery guy called the restaurant and was instructed to take the ginger dressing out. I called the restaurant and asked them why they didn't call me (phone number was on their seamless slip) to tell me that they wanted to charge for ginger dressing and I would have allowed them to charge it on my credit card. The restaurant manager kept telling me that I needed to pay cash. I told her that I didn't have cash or else I would have just paid it. In the end, the delivery guy left with the ginger dressing.

This was not my first order with them but it will be my last. To think that they lost a loyal customer (of sushi and this restaurant) over...

After having been a regular customer, I had the worst experience with a restaurant ever! Ordered sushi and tempura, called after waiting for 45 minutes on status of delivery. On its way! Another 15 minutes later called again, and explained I don’t want to be charged for tempura, since it will be soggy and cold. Took another 15 minutes, 1 hour and 15 total for food to show up. At this point I was trying to get customerservice on phone, and was hung up on 2 times. Had to refuse the order, since it seemed unsafe for raw food, and mostly because of the rudeness of person on phone pretending to not understand me after she understood my earlier order perfectly! Rude and totally inexcusable customer service! I blocked them from my credit card and will never order...

I've had sushi from many places this is by far the worse. The sushi rolls were coming apart ,the rice taste old and soggy, the avocado was turning brown and the salmon far from fresh.The taste and presentation was so disrespectful. My son loves sushi and he didnt even eat half of it.When I was ordering the host was telling me how 6 pieces come in one tray..what for idk. Point is if you know your sushi don't order from here you will be dissapointed.First and last time trying this place.Its closer to my apt so I thought I'd give it a try. Threw some away but picked out three from the trash for exhibition.Kouzan between 94th and 95th street has great sushi for similar price and they...
