This is my first mala-tang experience, and the experience is fun! Their mala-tang is so delicious that I felt like I was introduced to a whole new world.

As summer approaches, I strongly recommend getting their satay dry pot mix. It is a brothless satay sauce, packed with sweet and salty peanut flavor. A summer option for those who don’t want to eat hotpot while wiping the sweat away.

They also offer a variety of soup base, including their bestselling beef bone soup, tom yum soup and tomato soup.

For the ingredients, I enjoyed the lucky bag — it was stuffed with actual shrimp and shrimp paste. Their beef and pork are of high quality and they replace the meat with new batches regularly. You can even get abalone and mussels from the seafood section!

We picked mild spicy for all the bowls, which was too mild for us and we will def go for medium next time. You can also add more spice later if it’s not enough.

Here are 4 easy steps to customize your own mala-tang:

Pick the hot pot ingredients, including meat, seafood, tofu, fishballs, veggies and noodles. Weight your bowl. You are charged based on the weight ($14.99/lb). Choose your broth and spice level. Make your own sauce at the sauce bar.

As a self-service casual spot, their staff are really friendly and helpful, and the...

This malatang place was such a pleasant surprise! The ingredients are fresh and there’s a wide variety to choose from — everything from vegetables to meats and tofu products is neatly arranged and looks super appetizing. What impressed me the most was the broth: spicy, aromatic, and flavorful without being overwhelming. It has just the right kick and is so addictive, I couldn’t stop sipping it. The wide noodles and beef balls were especially satisfying — they soaked up all the rich flavors of the soup. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well-organized. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m craving something spicy. Highly recommended for anyone who loves...

This place was amazing. Since it opened i used to come here at least once a week, sometimes twice or three times. Tons of fresh ingredients to pick from with amazing broths what's not to love? Then it had its ups and downs, some basic ingredients disappeared and luckily came back. And then today - they took off their signature chicken broth! SOLD OUT the guy at the cashier tells us, forever! Heart broken we had to leave the bowls and go out. Its the only child friendly broth option (which was our sons absolute favorite :(()

If the owner sees this - please bring the amazing chicken broth back so we can return and update our...
