My lunch experience at Sungold was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat.

The fairy light ambiance, combined with the charming brick walls, created a unique vibe that truly captured the essence of Williamsburg. It was a dining experience unlike any other.

I started with their renowned Dirty Caesar salad, topped with shrimp, which was an absolute delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the shrimp added a delicious twist to the classic dish.

UPDATED: Hit or Miss, Saved by Crème Brülée So, we finally checked out this spot after hearing so much hype, but man, it was a rollercoaster. Not a ton of gluten-free options, which was a bummer. And let's talk about timing - our water and drinks arrived late, and the food was just meh. But hey, the vibes were cool, and thank goodness for the crème brûlée! Seriously, that dessert single-handedly bumped up their rating. Without it, we might've given them the dreaded one-star treatment. Step up your GF accommodation it's 2024. If this is the 'fancy' option in town. Stick to the village for any upscale cravings!

SO serious question are you telling this isn't your restaurant? We sat in a booth in the back left windows 3/9. Please look into and check my bill I had a steak GF (not good) and was very chewy 👎and my partner had the pesto pizza and creme brulee for desert i've attached my open table reservation and my debit card transaction. I've also attached a photo with me and my sauvignon blanc wine at the location. 🤣 PLEASE LMK...

We came for HH. It was completely empty. The service was terrible. Took forever to place an order. My espresso martini had pieces of ice in it. The fries were actually okay. Was supposed to come with fortune cookies but didn’t. When we asked to have them they “couldn’t find any”. We were looking forward to getting pizza but of course “no pizza” available. We asked if they served food on the roof by the pool because that’s where we were headed after. And the server had no idea, didn’t think so (otherwise we would have just left to eat there… they certainly serve food up there) We were never offered water. We were the only people at the bar. Not hard to provide good service. VERY disappointed and will never be back. There are far better places to go in the area. Convenient if staying here - yes.
