I recently completed 13 classes at this location using the first-time client offer for $78 and had a great experience in class. Both Sophia and Aine are outstanding instructorsāeach brings energy that makes every class feel welcoming and motivating. They also do a wonderful job learning studentsā names and creating a supportive environment. However, my recent experience at the front desk left me disappointed. I received a promotional email offering $78 off my next class package upon completion of the first-time client offer. Wanting to continue, I chose to purchase the Memorial Day specialā10 classes plus 2 free for $249. I arrived early to resolve the discount in person and had even emailed the studio ahead of time to request a spot in class, explaining my intent to purchase in person. When I arrived, I was met with immediate resistance. Despite showing the email that clearly said, āclass package,ā I was told the discount only applied to monthly memberships. I had to wait for Sarah, who was teaching the class, before anything could be resolved. Ultimately, I was charged $319 and given only $70 off instead of $78, and the receipt reflected the Memorial Day special and an incorrect price. I didnāt notice the discrepancy until after I left and had to return to cancel the transaction and instead pay for a single class. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. The inconsistency in communication, reluctance to honor a clearly stated offer, and the dismissive attitude I experienced at the desk made me feel gaslighted. If the Memorial Day deal was ineligible for the discount, that should have been communicated upfrontānot after I had already been charged. The lack of transparency and the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily tense and unprofessional. I hope this feedback encourages clearer communication between the front desk and management moving forward. I genuinely enjoy the classes and instruction here, but the experience outside of the studio floor should reflect the same level of care and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a pretty active person (a big runner) and I have historically haaaated workout classes. I've pretty much tried everything, and I've always left feeling dumb for not automatically knowing the moves and not super welcomed. My friend in Philly loves Bar, so I decided to use a new client special just to try it out. I LOVE IT. I have gone multiple times a week since signing up and intend on getting a full membership. The studio is clean and cute. The instructors are so welcoming (they make it a point to remember your name) and do a great job at explaining the moves for someone who wouldn't always know. The workouts are HARD but you can be in and out in 45 minutes with the express classes. I'm super glad I branched out and started...
