I received one of the worst experiences I've had to deal with when it comes fast dining . But this seems to be a trend at this particular location. The lack luster employees who think that thier customers service interaction doesn't effect their paycheck in the immediate. Not looking at the long term effects of negative interactions tend to have people take there business some where else . Surely if im paying $27 dollars for a salad or bowl you could be at minimum hospitable. But if I have to ask if your OK mid way into you throwing my food in a bowl acting as if I brothering you for asking for additional items that dont come in the bowl, to then get to the protein and I ask for you to get the meat from the bottom of the pan where it is warmer than the top to see that its not much in the pan. This is a problem for this location. Not having fresh items ready, Or refreshed. He barely mixed my bowl and had items that he charged me for falling out of my bowl on to the counter top . I asked for extra chicken to be charged 4 dollars to get half of a portion, ask for cucumbers and carrots and the it was charged 65 cent for both items. Then the cucumbers were obviously over. It's exploration because they were smushy and had a sour taste. Didn't ask if I wanted bread and did not offer me a bag and handed me a bowl with dressing, Soaked into the top of the lid from his gloves. Absolutely unacceptable in the middle of midtown at lunchtime. I choose this location because I work at a major high-end hotel 3 buildings up . But considering the treatment last few times im contemplating taking my business...
Read moreI did an online order for a salad that I customized. I put double romane lettuce as the base since I didn't want mixed greens. I received an email that my order was ready, but when I get there I don't see my order. I was constantly looking in the pickup area where the letter M is (that's what my name starts with) i waited for 30 mins !! I see other orders being placed in the pickup area but not mines.. finally someone asked me what my order was and said "Oh there it is" .... in a completely different section that it wasn't supposed to be in. So now that I finally found my food and wasted 30 mins of my lunch time waiting to find it, when I did eat my salad the lid was not placed securely closed tight, it was limp and not full ! And the veggies were barely chopped up... it was like I was a dog eating a messy bowl of food that was just thrown together. For $18 dollars i expect the romane lettuce to be bursting out of the bowl , nice and full and veggies evenly chopped up and enough of each topping (for and even ratio) this is the second time this happened to me and I work down the block. Total was of my money and time.... and I didn't even finish eating it since it wasn't...
Read moreI love Sweetgreen and go there all the time. However, the lady at the cashier registry /salad area should not be providing customer service. She always looks beyond unhappy and rolls her eyes at any substitutes. This is not the first time it's happening. She has done it multiple times. It makes you feel very uncomfortable. Today, she did not ask the person in front of me if he wanted a bread, the guy had to shout out the last second for her to put it into the bowl. She emptied half of the dressing bottle into my salad and didn't even bother asking how much dressing I'd like. My salad was swimming in dressing. I had to tell her that it was too much and instead of at least apologizing, she just went on and dumped more arugula in my salad and continued mixing. My friend and I have considered to go to another location to avoid her service. That's not ok. We all have bad days but this is consistently...
