De Philip Johnson 550 Madison Ave. entre 55th/56th St. Esta arquitectura nace como reacción al Movimiento Moderno y al Mesianismo. Se trata de un edificio que muestra su clasicismo en dos puntos concretos de su fachada, en su base y en el remate del techo. Tanto en su base como en su fachada, observamos múltiples referencias a la arquitectura Art Deco, grandes hileras de ventanas de reducidas dimensiones, o cambios de orientación en el mármol que adorna su base son algunas de estas referencias al pasado. Su base de granito esta inspirada en el Ayuntamiento de Nueva York. AT&T fue propietaria del Edificio hasta 1992. Actualmente es conocido como edificio Sony.

Such a beautiful park! Great seating option for a nice day outdoors while still being protected from the elements... unless its raining like it was this particular day. We ended up in muddy water after about 5 minutes of the consistent rain. There's a coffee shop right in the park so...

I worked here in the late '80s early '90s when it was the AT&t building. The movie Wall Street was filmed in here. It's now the Sony building. Everything was marble even the elevators when I work there. Beautiful...
