I originally found out about this place in Annapolis, Maryland, and was so beyond happy to find out there was one near me, only to be disappointed. The first time I ordered here was about a month ago and they took 20 minutes to make 2 burrito (each with 1 protein and very little adds). The portion was EXTREMELY small compared to what I was used to in Maryland. I was so disappointed that they took so long and the portion was small because this is genuinely one of my favorite restaurants. I decided today to give them another chance and order ahead, I get there and there's 5 other customers in there, 3 of which I believe already ordered. There are only 2 workers, 1 of which is making boba, and the other is running around in the back heating up her own personal food from a nearby restaurant (i'm assuming for her lunch). I ordered my food over 15 minutes before and expected to be in and out within 30 seconds. That wasn't the case, I had been standing around waiting for someone to come to the register so I could get my food for almost 10 minutes, the entire time I am watching both workers do there own thing, but didn't seem to be in a rush to get to me or the other customers. I did get my food and drink and this time the portions were better (probably only because I got 2 proteins) but I honestly believe this restaurant has potential in the bronx but the service and the portions need to be worked on especially given how...
Read moreI exclusively order from Taichi thru GrubHub, so I've never formally been in the store but they have countless times saved me from my overnight shifts at NYP in Bronxville. They're the only boba spot open late and this time I also ordered a sushi burrito and my god, it tasted so fresh and was so filling- I absolutely inhaled it. I would have added a picture of the sushi burrito but ...yeaa.. Anyway!, also, the fact that they can make the boba WARM is absolutely chef's kiss on these cold nights. I hope they continue to keep their business and hours because really they are exactly what I want and what I need when I need to...
Read morePlease refrain from this restaurant. All the conspiracy theories about American food being chemically artificially made- made me a believer with this restaurant. When I tell you everything tasted like plastic please believe me. Crab meat is usually imitation. But this one here was so artificial it looked iridescent. The rice was like chewing on a pen cap. The salmon seemed like it was sprayed with fish oil to make it taste real. The lettuce was awful. This photo does the food no justice. You’d have to taste it to know what I mean. This should be illegal. I pray for...
