Charging $17.50 for Sesame Chicken is a lot - and okay if you understand capitalism is created to make everyone rich. All you need need to find is someone who is in need of what you're selling. Or, more importantly, make anyone realize that they are in need of what you're selling and didn't even know it until you came around. But it becomes a con when you sell a dream and can't even produce a nightmare. What I'm saying is - yesterday night, I was hungry after 12am and found this place and thought "Wow. An Asian spot open this late?! Nice." Ordered and was completely disappointed when the chicken was over cooked puffs of bread that broke the tip of the cheap plastic fork provided, tasted like vinegar, and sitting in coagulated sauce that was more then a little. So at 17.50 for a portion that looked like yesterday's lunch special - I should of got at least a fortune cookie and a free soda to at least make me think you guys actually to give a fvck about the services you provide and not just over charge for what was probably, literally, yesterday's lunch special. Probably the reason for the vinegar taste - you could mask the taste of the food you make, but you can't change the fact this review will cost you 1750.00 in the long-run....
Read moreOk so where do I start. My ordering experience was pretty good. That is about the only good I can say. The order took 1Hr 30Min to arrive to my place and the driver had his wife in the backseat. This is a business and things like that are not a good look but I'm not really upset at that it is what it is. Now, the food is the reason why I'm taking time out of my day to express the way I feel. The food was HORRIBLE , I feel like they bought their A grade. The food was uncooked and the egg rolls I ordered were disgusting, they tasted like cardboard. It seems as if they fried them over and over again, my 4 year old can make me something better. This was just a horrible food experience, there was no taste it was just plain old embarrassing. I don't see myself ordering from here again unless they reach out to me to inform me that they have hired a new cook. I'm sorry but this was just a plain waste of time and money , food ended up in the garbage.I know people make mistakes but whoever made this must not like his/her job,...
Read moreI ordered pork fried rice and BBQ spare ribs. My meal was good for the most part. The portion size was ok. A little more rice and one more rib would have been a good value for the price. The rice was not oily although it did not have enough pork in it. It also tasted somewhat aged. The ribs were meaty, juicy and cooked well done. The three pieces had a nice amount of fat on them. The BBQ sauce was also quite tasty.
The meal came with a spring roll. It was good but it was evident that it was a frozen product. I prefer rolls freshly made.
The biggest issue was the cost. I ordered the meal through Postmates. This was a pickup order. The dish through Postmates cost $14.50. The cost if you order directly through the store is $9.30. I ordered through Postmates thinking I would get a bonus through Coupon Cabin. I later found out the discount was for new Postmates customers. Please avoid these apps, if possible. I regret using an app for this order that I...
