Taste Of Punjab — Restaurant in New York

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city by far. It is open super late which is great for late night workers like myself. I am a vegetarian and there is a large selection of vegetarian options here, not sure about pure vegans but there should be plenty of options for them to as they have a large vegetarian selection with out dairy products. They are very accommodating to all dietary types on the staff is extremely friendly. I come here quite often and I’ve got to know some of the staff a little bit overtime. They know you and your order and they are very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions. This place is a great place to bring groups of people. I particularly like the nan. Their coconut nan is really interesting and good. I always get the vegetable soup here which is excellent and they have a large selection of vegetarian/vegan type Currys of which I get many. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Save yourself the headache. The manager here is disgusting as mentioned in other reviews he is extremely rude and difficult to talk with. I used to be a frequent customer from this place but never again. I placed all vegetarian orders one of them being saag paneer and received something with meat inside. I made an attempt to nicely call this place and the manager was just yelling at me demanding proof- even though his employee literally told me my order was switched and then handed the manager the phone LOL. This was infuriating as the gentleman(not so gentle basically yelling) did not even let me explain too busy trying to argue to actually deliver good quality service. The people here are just ready for a fight and exhibit poor customer service. Also realizing how unsanitary this place is.

I ordered from uber eats and actually called the place cause I wanted some instructions to made clear so they understood what I wrote and not make any unnecessary mistakes. So when I got on the phone with upper management , his name was SUNNY. ill tell u straight up this guy is one of a kind and actually explained everything I wrote and made absolutely sure I get everything I requested that was requested, I even asked for some stuff that I would pay extra to see if we help me and he absolutely told me don't worry I'll take care of it. Now on to the food!!! Omfg!!!!! amazing!!!! Best Indian food I have ever ate in my life. I dont care what other people have to say that's untrue about this place but this place is top notch to the fullest. The Tikka chicken massala was to die for and the shrimp pakora was off the hook.
