Tex’s Chicken & Burgers — Restaurant in New York

Came last Saturday and ordered 3 spicy wings , which was great. -Went back on a Sunday afternoon and made the same order. This time, the cashier reported that they do not have wings. I reported that I would wait in which she "pretended" to ask the manager if there were wings. She asked...he never responded and continued his Convo with the cook (in another language). She turned to me and said "he said no". I was so confused as he never responded......or even looked her way. I laughed played stupid and walked off.

-Last night I tried to make the same order....and was told they were "out". I said I would wait in which the cashier told me they were "sold out". I mentioned "I wanted to place a large order of 15".

MAGICALLY, He immediately reported they could do it and they had wings all of a sudden.

I expressed confusion... stating that it seemed that they have wings only if it's a large order? I also reported the pattern I noticed (tried the theory twice....first was a no to my order then a magic yes when I pretended to want to do a large order for friends".

Of course, they were upset with my aha moment...

Needless to say, I went home with 4 wings , not spicy and the wrong side order ....(one being half cooked inside)

I tried to call the restaurant immediately after, as I highly felt this was done intentionally based on my respectful inquiry .

This is by far the worst location that I've ever attended. I went with my mom on our way home to grab something, as we had been out most of that day. The cashier didn't greet us, nor did he confirm our orders. He also didn't tell us our total price and didn't offer any sauces. When we received our orders, there was no sauce or silverware in the bags AT ALL. He told my mom that she couldn't switch the sauce that came with the order and didn't off us our receipts. The side that I ordered(mashed potatoes) came completely liquid, which I didn't find out until we were already 7-10 minutes away from the location— also containing chunks at the bottom. Not only was his service horrible, but the food was not even decent or...

People proceed with extreme CAUTION ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ this food has some kind of contamination either it’s the fried chicken itself or the oil wasn’t cleaned or something!!! It doesn’t make sense for me to eat the chicken then have to instantly used the bathroom. And when I say instantly I mean right then and there. The front house may appear nice and clean but behind the house is a different story for real. No I’m not tryna bash this business but they definitely need to do something about this particular location. It’s been a week since Ive eaten the fried chicken from there and still have this crazy painful stomach virus!!!! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!!!...
