I decided to try out this page after looking at the IG pictures. Don’t be fooled, your nails will not look like the pictures posted. I went in with very high expectations but I left very disappointed and in pain. There were several things wrong with my experience. I expressed to Amy what I wanted and how I wanted my nails shaped and she was not understanding. At one point I made her re do my thumb because my nail was literally going in a different direction which I showed her. She took off the gel x nail and tried again but it was the same thing. In the process of filing my thumb she scraped my skin off on the side of the nail which started bleeding. When putting on the gel x nails and cutting them to the “desired” length, some nails broke on the sides which I had to point out to her. She re did them thankfully. My nails are all different lengths and the gel x nails were not properly placed on my nails so my real nail is sticking out on the sides. They are also very very bulky which I’m not sure why? This isn’t powder so I’m confused. At the end she left them bulky underneath my nails and I told her to drill them underneath so they aren’t as bulky but that didn’t work either. Before I came in I asked how much gel x would be and they said $80 if I’m not getting a design. At the end of my service it ended up being $85 which isn’t that big of a deal but it’s not consistent with what they said. I didn’t get any design.
Overall I’m very disappointed with my experience and service and will not be returning. This was not worth $85 not including tip. This was my wake up call to not choose convenience over quality.
Don’t get me wrong, everyone was so kind including Amy but please do not false advertise on your Instagram page to lure customers in and give them service they are...
Read moreA lot of my friends go here but I can't rate it too highly. Sometimes I wait for a very long time (I don't mind coming back another day if told but I waited once for 3.5 hours before service started). I know the constant nail treatment is not best for the health of my nails so I usually keep it simple. I've done gel on my fingers but my nails were filed so paper thin that I had to cut them and wait for them to grow out. I've done acrylic and it really messed up my nail beds. I've done dip powder a few days ago and it started breaking shortly after I left the salon. It's day 4 and almost all the nails are broken (not chipped, broken). I've done acrylic on my toes, not great for nail health. Got regular polish on toes, it started chipping on the first day... this nail salon is for those who do the grand styles but that's not for me. Simple stuff is overpriced and don't last long unfortunately. I don't recommend because I've been to other nail salons (particularly in Manhattan) and the service is better, the ambiance is better, the estimated wait times are accurate, and the quality of work is superb..... and surprisingly less $$.
They have their loyal customers and they do great work, but not for me and my simplicity and the prioritization of the health...
Read moreMy first time here yesterday! I traveled 2 hours & Jenny did my nails and I can honestly say I’m impressed! I’m very picky and pay attention to details with my nails and my nails are TOP NOTCH. Jenny’s work is CLEAN & CRISP! From shaping, coloring, designs ETC! There’s no error/sloppiness. Some nail techs would leave beads of color acrylic powder under your nails and not drill it off or your designs will be uneven or nails crooked… NOPE not with Jenny!
I’m beyond satisfied although it was pricey, it was worth it. Now I will just be paying attention to see how long my set lasts as my nail beds are naturally weak and I do a lot of things with my nails, I normally get 2 & a half weeks until the nails look worn/torn and starts to pop off. We will see but for now just off the service and quality alone, I...
