Consistently excellent food and great customer service.

The birria tacos are the best I’ve had out of about 6 other places I’ve tried in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. And the flautas are delicious as well. The menu items are reasonably priced and are always a fair portion size. I appreciate that the staff is always kind, communicative, and patient.

I hope that this business expands to other boroughs because they’re truly a gem!

-Unfortunately, the quality, taste, and presentation has significantly declined. I can’t justify traveling from the Bronx to Brooklyn just to support this business. I ordered my regular meal, Birria with consume, and flautas. The Birria did not taste right, the consume was more like brown water, and the flautas were overcooked on the inside yet soggy on the outside. The rice and beans were mush. I come here all the time. This one time, a young guy rushed cook my order. Every time I’ve ordered tacos they cook the chicken thoroughly, that’s why they say 10-15 min wait. He cooked it for 2 mins. Not even 5 mins passed as I was walking, I took a piece of chicken from the tacos & it tasted chewy & a lil undercooked. I went back and told the young man a piece of the chicken was chewy. He loudly says “well what you want me to do?” and I asked him if he can cook it longer. He grabs the takeout box from my hand gathers my money and place it on the metal table. I always go to that truck with no issue. He was rude and unprofessional. Be aware, he doesn’t care about customer service. Hadn’t been here in a while because the chicken quesadilla I had last time was so-so. I’m not a vegetarian but was in the mood for a simple rice-beans-cheese vegetarian burrito. Unfortunately, burritos are not the thing to order here. My burrito was almost entirely rice (which was pretty dry) and lettuce. I could barely taste or see any beans. No cheese that I could see.
