I first visited Kings County Distillery in 2015 and while I have had their stuff since then, I can't believe I haven't been back since then.
The Gatehouses are a great place to hang and drink. First, since it's a historic building it's very rustic yet feels warm and welcome. The bathrooms are downstairs via an d spiral staircase in what used to be the basement and they still have the Air Raid Instructions.
As for the spirits, well they are.nothing short of incredible. I had the five spirit tasting flight then decided to also try the coffee whiskey and the two variations of Kings Code they had available. We kicked things off with espresso martinis, which packed a serious punch (in the best way). From there, we explored cocktails featuring their moonshine and darker spirits—each one expertly crafted and full of rich, bold flavors.
If you’re looking for a unique, atmospheric spot for cocktails in Brooklyn, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait...
