Oh my, the service was absolutely terrible. My family and I came in at 9:45 on a Saturday night, the place was quite empty, so we wanted to order some food and drinks, including some momos. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, and the waitress said the momos would take 20 minutes. We were happy to wait for them, however, we waited an hour and a half for them… the waitress never collected our empty dishes so our table was piled with plates and glasses, and she had an attitude with us the entire time. We asked multiple times to cancel the momos as we just wanted to leave, but the waitress said she could not cancel them, even after we waited more than an hour but she reassured us they would be out “in a few minutes”. It turns out, they didn’t have any momos ready for dinner, which would have been fine if we were told that and we would have just never ordered them in the first place if we knew of the wait time. We spoke with a manager to finally cancel them. The waitress also did not bring us out a couple of drinks and waters that we asked for, so we were just very...
Read moreA friend told me about a Tibetan club to visit on Tuesday evenings, featuring a special Tibetan cycle dance show. So, after my TOEFL class at NYLC, I headed to the club called The Palace. I was amazed when I walked inside; the venue was spacious and beautifully decorated, showcasing modern design that clearly reflected significant investment. Almost everyone there seemed to be Tibetan, with waiters and waitresses conversing in Tibetan. It was a special night for Tibetans, filled with beautiful Tibetan songs and various performances. Some men and women dressed in stunning traditional chubas danced gracefully on stage, captivating the audience. In that moment, I realised I was in Tibetan world, a feeling I had never experienced before. I wanted to scream, and say I LOVE YOU, THE PALACE!Although I’m not a great dancer, I joined in and truly enjoyed the experience. I have deep appreciation for the person who created that welcoming environment. It was an absolutely fantastic idea, and I wish you guys great success. Thank you! Peace and...
Read moreRecently, I’ve noticed an increase in southeast Asian(Indian/Bengali/Pakistan) customers visiting the bar. While the majority of them have been respectful, during my last visit, I witnessed three young Indian looking men behaving inappropriately — they were approaching and touching multiple girls in a disrespectful manner even though they were with their partner. It seems like they haven’t seen girls for decades or rheir behavior suggested a character that seriously lack of respect for women.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and can create an unsafe environment for other guests, especially girls. I strongly urge the bar management and security staff to monitor such situations closely and take appropriate action when necessary. A security personnel must be installed on the floor at all times. Ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere is essential for the long-term success of the business. If girls start to feel unsafe, it could significantly affect the venue’s reputation and...
