The Whale Tea — Restaurant in New York

This is my first time ever writing a review, and that’s a huge testament to just how amazing this place was. I came in about 15 minutes to close and was greeted warmly by the person behind the counter, who helped me choose my order down to the toppings. I ended up getting the Fresh Milk Taro with Jelly Boba and it tasted SO GOOD! You can tell the milk is really high-quality, and the fresh taro is quite literally the best I’ve ever had. I’m new to bubble tea and asked for guidance. They looked at me like I had two heads. Then I had to order on a kiosk and when I had a question about what something was a man acted like they didn’t hear me and after asking again in a polite way, the man didn’t expound on the answer at all. The customer service was def lacking. So I got my tea which was pretty good. I don’t think this place is for beginners. Can’t someone just give a man some help? Sheesh.

Went today and the service was subpar. I paid my money for 2 drinks. No one was in there. Two workers were doing online orders. So I had to open my mouth so I could place my orders. Placed my order only for the lady to serve someone else who went in the place after myself. I had to ask where my drinks were. One drink was made already but the lady ignored me until I opened my mouth. Don't go there. The fact that they used one rag to wipe down everything and handle cash...
