I use to come to toast a lot for there chicken wings but last night at Toast the manger disrespected me. Me and my friend decided to stop by because we have not been at toast for a while, we order our drinks and the bartender which was a male said after can we see your id i showed him mines and my friend seem to forget her's. i ask for a beer but the bartender made my friend drink and gave it to me he did not give me my beer. i did not complain i ended trying the drink. me and my friend decided to sit a table to order food. my friend ask for a taste of my drink because she said her co worker told her to try that drink that is why she had ordered it, so i allowed her to taste it. all of a sudden the bartender storms over to our table in the back and says we have to leave she can not have non of your drink. i told him i am not going anywhere i bought this drink. he leaned over to our table basically in our face saying we have to leave or he is calling the cops. i was so outraged that i said i will leave once i finish this drink, which i ended up doing is taking the drink and dumping it on his head. i told him he is very rude and since you wanted to embarrass me i will embarrass you. me and my friend was the only black people in there, and what i notice on there wall they have black monkeys drinking dark liquor acting like fools with white people standing around watching them. the man at the bar was rude and he get what he ask for a drink on his head LOL! after i spend my money why leave all your customers unattended to act like that towards us. i spent plenty of money with toast because they do make lovely chicken wings the sad part is my fiancee works for the health department toast should know next time who they messing with do not disrespect me because of the...

He seemed busy up and down, in and out, the storage was outside heading towards the basement, but still, out of courtesy you hold a door, especially for a customer. The waitress was pleasant, but annoyed when I returned the onion soup. It was terrible. It seemed to have beer in it, and if it wasn't beer then it was old. My son's Cuban sandwich pork was hard and dry. My chicken sandwich had portobello mushrooms and red peppers, nothing else! The red pepper was old refrigerator tasting the mushrooms don't know because I hate mushrooms and the chicken was good, sandwich was cold, you'd think it be hot. The only good thing on my plate was the sweet potato fries and my son's French fries. Overall the food sucks!! We took the food but we threw it in the garbage. People that goes for a burger or just drinking it's probably great but to have a dinner, yuk! Maybe you have to be little tipsy to be able to enjoy that food. I sure didn't! No pictures because the food was not good enough to get my...
Read moreVisited Toast 125 at 3157 Broadway for the second time. Overall, it's a nice spot with a good vibe. The Mexican burger was solid; juicy and flavorful; but like most of the menu, priced on the higher side. Then again, that's consistent with the restaurant's overall pricing.
The ambiance was pleasant; low-level music playing boleros and other Spanish classics really set a cozy, relaxed mood. We checked out the special lunch prices, but honestly, they didn't make much sense to us. We ended up ordering from the regular entrée menu, which felt like a better value.
One thing that caught our attention was the drink pricing; beer was only $2 more than a soda, so it felt like a better deal than paying high for soft drinks.
Service-wise, this is where they dropped the ball. It took quite a while to get our appetizers, and after that, we barely got any attention from the staff. That part of the experience really stood out in a negative way.
Overall, good food and ambiance, but the service needs serious...
