Went in to try the cheese slice and it was $2.50. Couldn't pay with credit card. I think you need to spend $7 before you can use credit. The slice isn't even that big to cost so much. I know $1 pizza the tastes better. Not worth the price at all. Didn't have any flavor to me. I had to add seasonings. It's edible if it was the only option but I wouldn't return. Besides the service sucks. I got a burnt pizza and when I mentioned it, nothing was done to give me a better slice of discount. Just attitude and no apology. They shouldn't even be serving burnt pizza at all.

Trufa Pizzeria is a great spot to grab a slice of pizza in NYC. The garlic knots are definitely a standout, with a fluffy and soft texture that melts in your mouth. They are definitely worth trying, especially if you're a fan of garlic. The pizza itself is a good standard NYC pizza, which means it's pretty darn good. The crust is thin and crispy, while the toppings are tasty and flavorful. While it may not be the most unique or inventive pizza in the city, it definitely hits the spot when you're craving a classic slice.

I recommend! The pizza has a nice crispy, the dough is perfect! The sauce was amazing. The right amount of grease (if you’re from NYC you know that makes a good pizza) it was freshly made. The Garlic knots was super soft and so good.

I FOUND GLASS IN MY FOOD!!! 😡😡😡 I have NEVER visited this pizzeria before as it was suggested by my dear friend of mine who lives in the area. As a first timer, I was COMPLETELY TURNED OFF! And EXTREMELY UPSET. I ordered a slice with black olives and waited a good 10minutes to receive the pizza for myself and another slice for my friend. They did not accept Apple Pay unless you spent $10 or more. I would have NEVER expected this from a restaurant that seemed cleaned and was graded an “A” by the department of health. The guys that were present tonight barely had a reaction when I brought it back for a full refund and barely gave a sincere apology. I would HIGHLY suggest to NEVER eat from this pizzeria! I would NEVER eat from here again and will not be RECOMMENDING it to anyone. THIS PLACE DESERVES TO BE SHUT DOWN! You are responsible for public and what you feed them and should be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS of what you are doing in the...

Horrible. Order came late. Stale and thin pizza. Greasy. Cold. Awful. Garlic knots cold and stale as well. MozzeIla sticks semi decent. I ate here 2 years ago and pizza was excellent. Super disappointed. Hyped it up to friends and they were disappointed. Clearly my friends and their friends and so on will not eat this expensive nasty pizza. It feels like it was made with no care. Took one bite and had to throw all of it out and get Olgas on 138th street and broadway. Please stop lying and saying the food is great. There is clearly no care and this is a disservice to anyone who has to eat this garbage. Look out...

Not very customer service like at all. I asked for one slice and he puts it in a bag fold it up and charges me, does not ask me if that's all?, if I would like a drink?, I take the pizza slice out the bag because I wanted to put garlic powder on it. I look at the slice and I say let me get another one please this might not fill me up, and please put this one back in the oven. He takes the slice puts it in a box disregard my directions and the second slice I asked for throws it in the box sauce and cheese all over. Not buying from there again. Maybe I have to be white or a student of Columbia...
