I am disappointed with the level of service and professionalism displayed at True Burger in Terminal 7 of JFK Airport on Saturday night October 28th around 11pm.
During my visit, there was a complete lack of organization and professionalism from the staff. Employees were openly arguing with one another while calling out numbers and names in a chaotic manner. At one point, the cook announced there would be no more burgers, only to change their mind and offer "the last burger" to another customer, which caused further confusion and frustration.
The situation escalated when the cook came to the front and gestured toward the waiting customers, many of whom had been standing for over 20 minutes. He made comments such as, “they don’t know what they ordered,” and “oh wow, they don’t know the name they typed for the order,” which struck me as highly unprofessional. Additionally, some customers were told, “no, that’s not what you ordered,” leading to more confusion. Eventually, the staff began handing out food without confirming who had ordered what, adding to the disarray.
After waiting for 30 minutes, I accepted a burger that was handed to me, regardless of whether it was my order, just to avoid further delay.
It appears that beyond a lack of professionalism, there is a clear absence of teamwork and possibly inadequate training and standards for the staff. This reflects poorly on the establishment and on JFK’s reputation for maintaining quality service.
I hope you will look into this matter seriously and take appropriate steps to ensure that such disorganization and poor service are addressed. I trust that future experiences for myself and other travelers will be more in line with the high standards expected in a major...

Before reading this review I wanna tell you: I know that in Terminal 7 @ JFK there’s no offering in terms of food, but, please, don’t fall in the same trap as we fell and order from this place after reading the reviews.
The food is bad, bad as the burgers taste like they were frozen and re-heated. Nothing horrible, but for 25 to 35 dollars a meal, you would expect better. Fries have no salt, but I can live with that.
Staff attitude is horrendous. One guy before me ordered a burger with no bun (that’s an actual option in the self-ordering kiosk) and he was yelled at and cussed at because apparently they “don’t do no buns”. Keep in mind the guy had healt-related reasons for selecting the option and he was treated like he was in the wrong and with attitude too.
Order was obviously wrong. They got 0/2 burgers correct. Condiments and add-ons were all wrong. I ordered bacon-jam, pickles, ranch and onions, I got the onions only. The other burger was wrong too. Please, remember that we are talking about 20+ burgers.
The wait is long, there’s three people in the back and you can clearly see someone has drenched life from them, I don’t blame them, working there does not look like the american dream.
Sodas are not even filled all the way. Cheese for the cheese fries tastes like cheap plastic and bad decisions.

I ordered my food on a kiosk after figuring out what I was supposed to do because the employee behind the register was not helpful at all. Then I waited 30 minutes for my order. While waiting I watched one of the line cooks playing on his phone with gloves on then walked to the back for a minute and came right back and put his phone away. Never washed his hands or changed his gloved.
I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with no tomato and paid to add jalapeños and BBQ sauce. When I finally got my order they gave me a regular bacon cheeseburger. I took the burger to the counter and informed them of the mistake. The woman at the counter told the cook and he proceeded to slam the burger into the trash then just stared at me for 15 seconds. Then when he finally remade my burger he had to ask what I wanted 3 times. The lady at the counter told him item by item. When I got my replacement burger it still had tomato
They were out of cheese fries and ginger ale. Instead of telling people the lady at the counter simply offered to give everyone something else.
Not once did anyone apologize or anything. I paid almost $70 for a burger, chicken strip, and 3 cokes. Absolute waste of money. The rudest place I have been.
Do yourself a favor and get food somewhere else. Every employee there that night...
