Best Mexican restaurant in Astoria! No other place gives big portions the way Veracruzano does. Everything is fresh, flavorful and tasty and you can definitely tell it’s made with love. It’s a family owned restaurant and the customer service is always great. I swing by every week to eat and try new menu options and it never disappoints. We ordered tamales and there was hair in them. When I told the waitress that there was hair and literally pointed right at it, she pretended to not see it and argued with me saying she does not see anything when there was clearly a long black hair.
