Wingstop — Restaurant in New York

When this location first opened, it was fantastic—I became a regular during the night shift. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been far from enjoyable. The quoted wait times are consistently inaccurate, and on multiple occasions, I’ve ended up waiting much longer than promised. For instance, during my last visit, I waited 45 minutes for a six-piece boneless combo, despite being quoted a much shorter time. When I voiced my frustration, instead of receiving an apology or explanation, I was met with verbal hostility from the staff.

The general manager, while seemingly a kind person, appeared indifferent to the situation, which was disheartening. Her demeanor suggested that these kinds of delays and complaints happen frequently. During our conversation, she assured me that she understood my concerns, but her facial expressions told a different story, one of resignation rather than genuine concern.

There are some great service workers here, though. I recall the night manager who used to be around—he was fantastic and always ensured a smoother experience. However, I haven’t seen him in a while, which is unfortunate. One thing I will give them credit for is the quality of the food. Despite the long waits, the food always arrives fresh and hot.

If you’re someone who values good customer service, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re only concerned about getting fresh, hot food, and don’t mind clearing your schedule for a potentially lengthy wait—and the possibility of being treated rudely—then this place might still be worth a visit. It’s Friday night, And I’m craving wings, My tastebuds wants to be jumping, But I know it’s a sin, Mixing Mango and Atomic, In my belly they are going in.

As I walked in I was greeted well, I was impressed. The gentleman in the back was coordinating and on his Ps & Qs. Facility clean, everyone focused, I was a bit shocked, but kindness and communication was top notch. I tried the atomic wings and mango habanero, I needed that heat tonight. Fries, flavored, sauces on deck. My bag was packed so neat, I was like dang, I got to give them a shout out. A lady came off break to take my order and was so polite, professional, I feel bad I didn’t get their names. She ran down everything you could ask and said thank you and much more. Went mid-week around 11:45am...great experience.

Very empty around that time. Food was prepared quickly and everything tasted fresh.

The sole staff member there during that time was efficient and friendly.

Neat and well-maintained space.

Large parking lot with lots of spaces available at that time. Lot shared with Pizza Hut, Western Union, Laundromat and Storage Facility.

I have visited other Wingstop locations during peak (after-school/dinner/weekends) hours and my experience has been very different. This location may be similar...but my visit was great.
