Unprofessional Management & Poor Customer Service
I have been a loyal customer of Popeyes at 360 Baychester Avenue, but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. On a previous visit, I ordered a 10-piece regular chicken meal and requested a mix of pieces, but instead received 10 legs. Since it was too late too return, I decided to bring it to the attention of the manager, Erica, on my next visit—not to ask for compensation, but simply to share my concern.
Unfortunately, the supervisor, Erica was rude, dismissive, and condescending. Instead of listening, she made me feel as though my complaint was insignificant. I then reached out to the general manager to express my concerns, only to be dismissed again—she downplayed the issue, yet apologized for the experience and offered a chicken meal, but I felt she wasn't truly genuine. and made it clear that she didn’t care about the poor customer service I experienced.
I wasn’t asking for free food—I just wanted to bring attention to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. I understand we live in a busy area, but that is no excuse for rudeness, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money at this establishment. Customers should be treated with respect, not disregard.
This experience has made me rethink returning to this location, and I hope corporate and the franchise owner address this ongoing issue. No one should be...
Read moreOne thing for sure you cannot go wrong with Popeyes. I'm giving it a five-star because of all the years that I have been in and out of that restaurant, they have not yet once treated me in a way to where I do not feel welcome. Their food is amazing. I have not once complained about the food. In fact, throughout the years of me complaining the only thing I have been complaining about is them not adding jelly to my biscuit, at times it seems like they always forget to add the jelly packet to the food. The atmosphere is pretty cozy there's really nothing for me to complain about when it comes to the actual looks of the place.
But there is always room for improvement. The one thing that they can definitely improve in is the customer service because there's only one person behind the counter every single time that I'm there. I am the type of person that really doesn't go off the menu as much meaning that I won't buy anything out of the ordinary. So the only thing that I do Buy in Popeyes is the chicken strips (boneless chicken) with the combo of french fries and biscuits. That always hits the spot. They always make it in the right way every single time when I do buy the chicken strips, there has never been a time where it's not properly cook because it is always cooked...
Read moreThe service could definitely use some improvement. I sat in the drive thru for nearly an hour waiting to order my food, only to find out the wait was that only because the speaker wasn’t working. So each car had to pull forward to the pickup window to place the order and wait for the order there as well. After patiently waiting I finally make it to the pickup window to order my food which was a # 5 popcorn shrimp combo which is normally made to order so I have no problem with that after paying for my food and waiting at the window 10mins later, the cashier says it’s 3 mins for your order due you mind pulling up and I’ll bring it out. Of course I pulled up and waited another 10mins for them to bring my food out only for them to bring me some overcooked shrimp that looked like they were cooked in dirty grease and to top it off after waiting for my food to come out I had to tell the cashier I never got my drink, which took another 5 mins for them to bring out. Overall all I wasted an hour of my Tuesday afternoon waiting in a drive thru for food that wasn’t worth it!! I’m giving them 2 stars because one of the cashiers was...
