Yedang — Restaurant in New York

I ordered rice cake to give to friends and family for my son's birthday. I previously ordered from another place but they cancelled my order on the day of his birthday because their employees didn't come to work. I called several places and called Yedang as my last resort. The lady that picked up call was very nice. She said she can't do last minute order however she can save rice cake she just made for me. I purchased rainbow ricecake, tri color rice cake, pumpkin rice cake & white rice cake. The price is bit more expensive then other places but the taste and presentation are excellent. I would come back and re order for his following birthdays.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Not sure how this place is in business. The owner lady is super rude and nasty. Her attitude is extremely terrible, I don’t even understand how she can expect to run a business the way she does. You can get just as good items from Hansol or any other catering spots. I would rather give my money and business to someone who actually respects and appreciates their customers. This place is despicable! A decent and only place for Korean rice cakes and drinks in the area, but the price has been so high and the old Korean lady is so stinge and not mannered for her customers. When asked for hot water after ordering lots of stuffs including cups of tea, she dared to say no. When it seemed clear that we were leaving, she acted like the hot water was being prepared. We were the only customers and it was not busy at all. I don't feel like going there again anymore.
