So I just had gotten off from work it was a very cold day and all i wanted to do was to have a warm meal so i decided to go to this restaurant because I saw that it was 24 hours. As I arrived the person in charge was sitting at the table, he angrily stood up and looked at me as if I had offended him somehow with my presence. So I asked "what’s wrong?" and he seemed to to have understood me as he did not reply. I proceeded to order an original beef noodle soup to-go, which costed $13 after tax it was 14.15. When I got home, I looked at my meal and the soup container wasn’t even half full, which was heavily disappointing. I paid full price so I expected to have a full meal. The little soup there was, was cold and it lacked flavor. if you ever come here, I recommend bringing an Asian person with you, so that they could translate what they are saying to you because they for sure look like the were bad-mouthing me.
Not to mention after i ate whatever they served, i started feeling sick. i probably got the left overs from customers. I highly advise all of you to NOT COME TO THIS PLACE UNDER ANY...
Read moreThe interior designing is adorable. I personally enjoy the fresh seaweed house soy sauce. It's not too strong but also doesn't taste bland. However, in terms of their noodle dishes. I find it to be quite lackluster. Typically, since this restaurant is quite similar to Shi Miao Dao Yunan Noodles, I would've expected them to too put the sides in for me. In addition, the soup, I find it to be a real low-ball. There's nothing in the soup like how there is at other places and the taste is also like it's watered down with no like lasting prominent flavor. I do believe they changed their serving sizes for the noodles. I came here when they had their grand opening and shared a bowl of noodles with a friend and it was large enough to fill us both. However now, they seem to have made the bowl much smaller. The servers are nice and reasonable by helping me switch out a side dish because I was...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Flushing(I’m a local). I can eat their spicy pickled pepper soup any day, any time. The atmosphere is so clean and nice looking, and your soup comes sizzling to the table in a nice iron pot. The tofu appetizer is so delicious and flavorful. I am vegetarian and this place does not offer veggie broth on the menu, however you can request no meat and veggie broth and they will do it! Please add it to your menu, I promise you vegans and vegetarians will come to your restaurant to try this soup! I take everyone I know to this restaurant, I have always had good service with friendly staff. I plan to take my in-laws today! Heineken served in a nice glass is only $3.50 here too. Spicy soup, free refill of rice noodles, and good price beer…also open 24 hours! This place is a must try if you’re visiting or living...
