From the moment I stepped into the Sky Hotel in Flushing, I knew I had found something special. Nestled in the heart of one of NYC’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods, this hotel isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience. ✨ First Impressions: The lobby is a modern masterpiece: sleek, calming, and spotless, with just the right blend of upscale design and welcoming warmth. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and impeccable professionalism—every check-in detail was handled smoothly and efficiently. 🛏️ The Room: My room felt like a tranquil oasis above the city. The bed? Absolutely cloud-like. I slept better here than I have in months. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning skyline views, especially at sunset when the city glows gold. The décor was minimalist-chic, with thoughtful touches like soft ambient lighting, blackout curtains, and USB ports right where you need them. Every surface gleamed. The bathroom was pristine, with a rainfall shower that I could’ve stood under for hours, plush towels, and high-end toiletries that felt like a mini spa moment. 🌆 Location, Location, Location: Flushing is a world of its own—an epicenter of global cuisine and authentic NYC energy. You’re steps away from the 7 train, and it’s a quick ride into Manhattan—but honestly, you may never want to leave the neighborhood. I ate better in two days here than I have in some international food tours. (Pro tip: try the dumplings and hand-pulled noodles around the corner!) 🧘♀️ Amenities & Extras: Fast, reliable WiFi. Whisper-quiet rooms. Super comfy robes. Plus, the hotel offers a rooftop lounge area with panoramic views of Queens and the Manhattan skyline—it’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening wine. Every corner of this property feels designed with intention and guest comfort in mind. 🙌 The Service: The real star here is the staff. Every single person I interacted with—from front desk to housekeeping—was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, offering great local recommendations and even remembering my name. That personal touch is rare, and it left a lasting impression. Final Verdict: Whether you're a tourist, business traveler, or a local looking for a luxe staycation, Sky Hotel Flushing delivers far beyond expectations. This hotel rivals Manhattan luxury stays—at a fraction of the cost and with a whole lot more heart. A flawless blend of comfort, elegance, and cultural immersion. I can’t wait to come back. 10/10. Highly recommend. 🌟
PS: I have to repeat one more time, the staff was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! The most friendliest and caring staff I have ever met, especially the Front Desk staff members!!! Amazing personalities and great people all around. They were the ones who make my experience a thousand times better on top of the of aspects of this great hotel, but the staff alone just made my stay exponentially better. Kudos to them! As I mentioned before, I will definitely be coming back and...

I booked this hotel for a few nights and on the first night, at midnight, two guys started banging on my door. They kept yelling and told me to get out of the room and open the door. I asked them multiple times who they were and what they wanted. They ignored me, forcefully tried to open the door (I had locked it from the inside), and continued with their yelling and loud banging at the door. It is midnight, mind you. I called the front desk and there was no response. This went for 30 minutes, I timed it. I called the cops because I felt like the guys were not going to leave my door and I feared for my safety. The cops showed up and escorted me down to the lobby. The two guys were Indian and were talking to each other making comments like she is alone, it’s a woman (not being racist, it is just a fact, I am a POC myself). Both guys were lingering around in the hallway the entire time and I could hear their footsteps. Once the cops showed up, I opened the door and the second they saw me open the door and walking together with the cops, they ran into their rooms.
Moving forward, I go up to the front desk and the guy just acts dumb. At first, he told me it must be housekeeping. Who has housekeeping at midnight, that too followed by aggressive yelling and pounding at the door? He then tells me that he "accidentally” assigned my room which is why they must have been knocking. If that was the case, a normal person would have gone back down to the front desk and informed them, not continuously harass another person. He then tells me he can’t look at security cameras because is not a “manager.” Two of their guests harassed a female guest and the staff can’t even look at the security footage. Had I not called the police, I don’t know what would have happened to me. The 2 guys were outside my door for 30+ minutes. There was definitely something off here. Any other hotel would have investigated this and kicked those 2 guys out of the hotel. They were a danger to every single person in that hotel, but this hotel did nothing. It is day 2 now and I did not receive a call or a single explanatory email from management. You would think that an instance like this warrants at least a call. For your own safety, avoid at all costs....
