We would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the service and care we received at John Hotel, where we wanted it to be perfect. Your staff did not disappoint us, even though we did not feel lonely during the stay.||||I’m writing as a very satisfied guest at John Hotel under difficult circumstances. The allocated room - 402; might be the newly retrofitted with new concept of milky white color palette, Decorative Art work on the wall, Perfect and effective Cool white Lightening, Comfortable cooling, Quality Mattress with finest material for comfortable sleep, Linen Towel, newly Polished furnitures - Doors - Knob / handles, Refrigerator, Microwave, Hair Dryer, Outside view of main street etc fascinate me. How can we forget to praise the mouth watering Morning Breakfast. Thank you for your gracious understanding and responsible responsibility. ||||We could see from Check-In that the hotel service has a great quality, both because of its comfortable and appropriate facilities, as well as service and constant concern for my comfort. Special Thanks to the RECEPTION personal; especially for being aware of my requirements. ||||During the stay, we have personally noticed that the hotel staff are dynamic, hard working, passionate at work, willing to take over new challenges and responsibilities. They did their tiresome duties with a smiling face for luggage handling during check in – check out etc, performance was remarkable. ||||Appointed staff maintained a positive attitude and ensured we felt good welcome during the stay. Everyone was treated with dignity and respect. We were amazed at the consistency in their performance and willingness to go the extra mile. Read moreNice room. In terms of the comfort of the mattress: none of us commented on this in any way shape or form at any time. I realized that I really must have slept well to not have even thought about it or comment. I asked my husband afterward and he thought it was a little stiff. My 17 year old son was fine. Comfy pillows.|We thought the bathroom was beautiful and enjoyable to use. It was perfect to have a microwave & mini-fridge, although the fridge could have been a little bigger. Desk/counter space was sufficient. We didn't hardly sit in the extra chair (a small, cushioned one) due to its placement - we just put stuff on it, such as clothes & bags. The chair at the desk was a basic chair that served its purpose. The breakfast was somewhat different in terms of offerings: the usual options: hot oatmeal, english muffins, bread, bagels & cream cheese, Polaner pure grape jelly, ICBINButter (margarine), donuts, cocoa puffs dispenser, other unidentified cold cereal (flakes), HB eggs, sausage patties AND links (both too greasy for my insides), 1 out of 5 days there were frankfurters of some sort. Unusual: scrumptious mango mini-muffins, croissants!!(nice!!), hot rice (toppings near rice & oatmeal: brown sugar, craisins, cooked mixed peppers? & some other granular-type topping. I tried the rice with br sugar & craisins - not brave enough in the a.m. to try the other ones. So-so. HB eggs tasted great, but were incredibly frustrating & difficult to peel - for everyone. I would think if they served it every day they would look up how to cook them so they are easier to peal - google it! |Delightful feature: newfangled electronic keycard - 'tap' style, electronic message center by the door, inside as well as out: "(press button to signal:) Do Not Disturb" or "Please service the room" (or something like that), as well as a doorbell! So cool & handy!| Excellent staff - attentive, easy to communicate with, came right up to assist with tv. 2 trolleys. 8 floors. 1 way street. Parking in a nearby, separately owned lot - reasonable. | Accessible to subway station: Flushing, NY "7" purple line: about a walk of 3 small blocks.
