The best buffet I’ve ever been to, sushi ingredients were some of the freshest I’ve ever tasted and the tuna could be mistaken for toro it was so good. You have these iPad things you order on and you can place orders whenever and they came out decently fast for how much I ordered. The price is so incredibly cheap I have no idea how they keep top tier ingredients while being all you can eat, it was like 27 or 24 dollars from what I remember per person. All the drinks apart from tea were at a pretty high mark up but honestly I’m not mad cause it made me realize tea and sushi go absolutely AMAZING together. They even have desserts like fruit jelly and literally THE BEST ice cream I’ve ever tasted, like usually it would taste powdery but holy this place makes it fresh or something it was so good and they aren’t even an ice cream place, I would drive all the way back to flushing just to eat the ice cream again. There are so many options to choose from for rolls and hand rolls and everything you can not get sick of any of it because it’s just that good. 100000% worth the money, honestly for the sheer quality of everything I wouldn’t even be mad if I paid 100 dollars per person cause holy that was the best, I can literally not stop thinking about how delicious the tuna was, everything was so incredibly fresh and you could taste it, and I would know because I know a place that gets their fish supplied fresh every 2 days and only lets their fish out for 2 days and I can tell you right now the salmon, squid, tuna, everything was at minimum 1 day old, now it might just have been for that one day but oh my god it was so good. I don’t know how these other reviews even got bad service from because you barely had to interact with anyone, it was mostly just order on the iPad and enjoy. Try everything, literally everything, nothing was bad, nothing was even mediocre, everything I ordered was extremely good. Did I mention this place is like 24 or 27 bucks for all this? Literally so worth the price, it’s ridiculous, I am driving back to flushing this weekend just for this place, I just can’t stop thinking about how amazing it is. Not to mention its underground so you get this amazing quiet environment to just sit and enjoy. I would absolutely give this more than 5...
Read moreMy wife and I ordered from the all you can eat menu, and the price came to around $40 per person. The menu gives small sampler sizes of some of the appetizers (takoyaki comes with 2 balls) but full sizes of their sushi rolls! I’d say if you can eat a lot of sushi in one sitting until you’re full, definitely go with the buffet. I have also dined at their restaurant before, and their Deluxe Ramen was To DIE for! The thing I ate in the video was the bbq Pork Skewer, the spices and flavors EXPLODE and coat your taste buds with seasonings to remember, they’re tiny but they are Flavor Bombs!!!
The service ladies are always on the move so you need to catch them while they’re passing by, they were ALWAYS asking if I needed refills on water and tea, however in the evening hours the “hot” tea does become Luke warm (since they were prepping to close for the night at the time when I was there, it makes sense they wouldn’t keep making new hot portions of tea). They were very friendly, always telling us what food item they were bringing so we knew if we wanted to order the same thing again. They take a bit longer to serve the hot items than the sushi though since they cook everything there to order, so that’s important to keep in mind!
The ambience is very calm with lower lighting, and the booths are very private, separated with a bamboo screen partition. They have some statues of anime characters, as well as a conservative amount of anime posters that match the color theme of the restaurant. There is always anime playing on each of the TV monitors (which is very nice for a weeaboo like me)!
All in all I’ll give this place a 5/5, even though they had some flaws later durring their closing hours, I’d say come here at the end of lunch - start of dinner time for the best experience!
Definitely go check this...
Read moreI went there on a Friday night and they were able to accommodate a party of 9 on short notice, which was much appreciated. But when I spoke to the waiter to discuss the price of the all you can eat the group noticed a discrepancy in the price the menu had and the price we were told we had to pay. The menu clearly stated a lower price for weekday dinners, but we were told we had to pay the price of weekend dinners because it was a Friday, even though that was not specified in the paper menu. We decided to sit down anyway because it was a reasonable ask with little difference. What came after was worse. The food was not incredible, but was of decent quality. Not a lot of variety on the menu, and even if there was, the serving sizes were incredibly small. One meat skewer was the size of two toothpicks lengthwise. And if you asked for one serving, they would actually only give you a single item (besides the rolls of sushi which the amount of items were specified on the menu). But we kept ordering with no complaint even though the service was terrible (as in the waitress had an attitude and ignored our requests for more paper menus to order with) and the food came slowly. After our first round of food, we ordered sashimi and some of the specialty rolls. The server said that we had to wait for it since the chef was slightly busy preparing other orders, we waited over an hour for them to tell us that we never ordered it! Eventually it got late, we were done waiting so we paid and left. I advise future customers to order as much as possible with their first order and hope they receive their future rounds of food without debate or attitude. And the ice cream was...
