Oh goodness I love ZIO LUIGI! Besides the fact that the restaurant has my name, which is a honor already, but the food is incredibly delicious! The atmosphere is cozy, like a nice, warm trattoria. The pasta dishes are good portions and they are going to fill you up well. We went to celebrate Woman's Day with my wife and she got the tagliatelle al ragù bolognese and it was divine! It tasted like Italy, it could have been done by my mom! I got the special, which was made with panda cream, green peas and small pieces of cooked prosciutto ham. My mom used to make this recipe with tortellini; it was a filled pasta dish without broth, but cream, ham and peas. I had it with rigatoni and it was amazing; I felt home! Also, rigatoni is the best pasta; they go well with any sauce and if the sauce has chunks of food (like Amatriciana), a rigatoni would catch the chunk and you can enjoy the whole combination of flavors, so... go rigatoni, go! I recently moved in the area and now I know where I will get my Italian food from this moment on: thank you, ZIO LUIGI!

My favorite Italian restaurant of all time. This place gets everything right including texture, amount of sauce needed, taste, and great service. (Yes. I’m a very delicate person who is very detail oriented). I wish I can say more about this place, but I’m not good at expressing. Give it a try and you will know what I mean.

I love this place. There are so many great dishes and the taste is always consistent. Jimmy has been my server every time I’ve dined in over the last 5 years. Small and cozy vibe. Food is fantastic! Note: they do not serve alcohol but you can byob.

We went there for our wedding anniversary, but to our dismay the waiter was drunk. He asked what our order was three times, and still managed to miss one of the orders. Same story for the next patron, where an elderly couple was asked what their order was four times, and when they got frustrated and left. There was another couple who came in around 7:30. The waiter suddenly told them that they are now closed and refused to serve them. The waiter here is ruining the business. I like the food and ambiance here, but because of the waiter, I was left with a bad taste and will never come back. If the owner of the restaurant sees this, save your restaurant and...

STAY AWAY

Stay home. Go anywhere else I’m not kidding. The prices are absurd for the amount of food. I got the gnocchi, it said $14 and they charged me more because they had changed the prices without changing it on the menu. My takeout seemed fine until I opened it at home and realized they had only given me less than 1/5th of the containers worth. I could see the bottom of the container there were only about 15 pieces of pasta in here. The whole restaurant was empty. It’s a waste of...
